owhh... so figuremall did stated on the page?
found this
http://www.thefiguremall.com/figure/870

if what KID mentioned, srp was 7800yen ... then he must have missed the shipping cost that's calculated at the bottom??!

owhh now i also get it ... figuremall is like a proxy service? we order stuff from them, they order for us from japan, and shipping cost whatever, will be ours to bear?

The thing I mentioned is only for PO items. For instock items, the price stated already inclusive of shipment.

As for the bolded part, yes that's how local shops do business. The difference is other local shops include the shipping cost beforehand (and didn't show the calculation) when they listed the PO. An example of online shop that practice putting up estimated shipping cost is HLJ

I'm sure you've bought stuff from XL before. I have, and I like their service, but if you're claiming that XL items are sold at the Japanese SRP, you're bonkers.

You should also note that it has happened to me before, where XL charged me more than the preorder price when picking up the items. Its understandable, what with currency exchange rates etc.

I also find it galling that your status as a 'MALE' is disputed. Did you have an accident resulting in the lost of... well lets not go there.

personally speaking from my point of view, I have only bought items from animetsu and TFM.

I'd rather trust TFM rather than animetsu, had a few cases with them, didn't know that shipping fee wasn't included along with the price so got quite a shock when I found out sleep.gif"

po-ed angel beats petit set 1 from them, out in october (or was it august), they only sent the email in dec trolololol nty.

and considering how kelvin has already shown up and discussed everything, is there a need to even continue the dispute itself by adding more oil into the fire? he has alrdy said tt he will discuss over with the buyer lol.

just a passerby's 2 cents worth.

Hey guys!

I'm sure whatever happened, happened for a reason, and we should just forgive and forget since the owner Kelvin has already explained and apologized to KID! Let bygones be bygones! =3

And yes, we (local stores) may not be able to give deals as good as/better than the stores in Japan like amiami or HobbySearch, and honestly its not easy to estimate the shipping costs as we have really no idea about the box size till its actually released, sometimes we may have overpriced/underpriced and we need to adjust our price to however much it seems good for both our customers and ourselves. I'm sure no one wants to run a business that is losing money, and of course our customers do not want to overpay as well.

I think most of the local stores in this forum are collectors themselves, and we all hope that everyone get their favourite figures/toys from whoever they purchase it from smoothly. So when things like this happen, I hope our customers and Malaysian based fans can be understanding of our situation as well, that sometimes, sh|t happens, and for whatever reason, we will mess up sometimes, but hey we're all human, we all make mistakes.

So anyway, on behalf of all the toy stores in in lowyat, I'd like to apologize in advance, if we ever mess up the pricing or shipping delay or whatever it may be, please be patient, and we will work things out. Aight? We're cool cats yea! Nyaaan~~

Just my opinion. Let this topic end here, and get back to the picture poison posting!

yeah .. i didnt know at 1st too ... because i thought it's just about that in stock price suddenly increased so much from the preordered price ..
now only know they didnt include the shippping cost in advance .. though some actions did became questionable; eg, the 3 weeks of no reply ..

overall, glad that KID got his answer after posting here ... and hopefully he will get his item soon .. ^^

just a note here ... if that's how the business going, then i think i can make 1 myself ...
can preorder from me for any item coming soon ... i wont take any deposit though .. but dont ffk me laa..
then i just order on their behalf from amiami for example ... when invoice come, will ask for payment from my buyer ... item arrived, i send to buyer ... profit wise, i just play around on the japan retail price (amiami usually have discount) and the shipping cost ..

i dont have problem on how sellers sell their items ... as long they wont screw their customers... that's all ..

i rest my case here laa...

kuroneko: that royan girl only affected to exiled ... me the least only gonna have nosebleed ... but if i buy, then for sure i will have broken nose too... my wife is a karate expert sweat.gif

Speaking about Animetsu. I know I feel bad for having no money for a long long months and been trying to change seller so that I can get my deposit back. Somehow he cancelled my PO and my deposit isn't back yet. hmm...

Don't know what should I do but anyway, I just feels bad for not paying him in time and cancellation is really bad. Still my items get canceled so what will happen to my deposit?

in my opinion, if local seller put the preorder price in RM, it should ALWAYS follow the fixed preorder price in RM even yen rate is up when the figure is release. If seller put preorder price in Yen or other currency, then it should follow the currency exchange rate when the figure is release...i preorder so many times from XL and not yet try get charge more than preorder price.

Wow, I wonder why there's a big price drop on most GSC's figures after they're released. Oversupply?

Anyway. Random shoot with a cheap camera. XD
