QUOTE(Criptonox89 @ Nov 10 2010, 05:07 PM) Guys, i have a budget of RM3500. I should get a 60D with 18-55mm or a 550D with 18-135mm? this is odd. my friend just bought 60D with 18-200mm IS because he said it is only RM250 different with 550D same package. maybe he bluff me Does the 18-135mm better than the 18-55mm in terms of sharpness and image quality? if you are like me that already have 550D. No point to upgrade to 60D. If you 1st time buying, might as well go for 60D + 18-200mm IS if you want for travelling purposes only |

Due to limited vitamin M, i guess i'll go for 60D with 18-55mm and later on will upgrade to a Tammy 17-50 or get a telephoto 55-250mm (if i really need that range). The 18-200mm looks perfectly awesome on the 60D, while 18-55mm looks a little tiny on the 60D body.
just my 2 cents.. |

QUOTE(canonguy12345 @ Nov 10 2010, 05:55 PM) im a canon user and im having trouble deciding whether to get the canon 17-55mm or 24-105mm . im using a 450d . optical quality is very very important to me and a few people had asked me to get the 17-55mm because im using a CF body. i have a wide angle +macro converter for my kit lens which makes it about 9-23mm and i KNOW i dont use wide angle that much so i dont think the EF 24-105mm that delivers a focal length equivalent to 38-168mm is gonna affect me . i dont realy like shooting landscapes. i plan to get a telephoto lens next time but not that soon. im still a student and i have been saving my money week by week to get 1 of these but I REALLY AM HAVING A HARD TIME CHOOSING WHICH. PLEASE HELP ME !!!! Which would you prefer; the extra range or the extra stop in aperture? I personally shoot a lot of indoor + low light, so f/4 is way too slow for my liking. |

a 60D body is RM2900 + Tamron VC 1750 = RM4650
I have only 3500 tablets of Vitamin M. That's why i left the Tammy for further upgrade.. |
