QUOTE(ComradeZ @ Nov 4 2010, 01:46 PM) ow... hahaha I need your experience in handling it maybe should I say "What it can do for some task" and "What it can't do?" something like that? generally from experience... of course.. not technically Generally speaking, it will do just about everything coz it's the best all rounder IMO. It's big, it's tough, it does everything FAST. Once customized to ur style of shooting, it snaps the instant u mash down the shutter button. There's no waiting, no lag. The AF locks on like a heat seeking missile almost instantaneously. The price drains ur wallet fast but it sure is fast. I call it Speedy Gonzalez. Haha. Added on November 4, 2010, 2:01 pm QUOTE(zstan @ Nov 4 2010, 01:53 PM) Who told u? If the OVF is blacked out during 10fps then how we gonna shoot sports la. U think we simply shoot blindly at 10fps kah? QUOTE(zio @ Nov 4 2010, 01:54 PM) who said u not femes? Now u femes la. Coz u shall be known as the Nikon traitor. U have now seen the light n come back to The Force. Make sure u don't descend into the darkside anymore. KakakakaThis post has been edited by ianho: Nov 4 2010, 02:01 PM |

Sony need translucent mirror coz they put 10fps into a cheap camera. Cheap Mirror assemblies cannot cope with flapping around at 10fps.

Haiyooooooooo the 1D is not using crop sensor to give more focal length la. Go read up properly regarding crop n FF. The reason why Canon use 1.3 crop on the 1D is because that is the limit for shooting at 10fps. If it was a FF sensor it would result in ghosting. The big sensor cannot discharge quick enough. Current technology does not allow Canon to go bigger than 1.3x at 10fps.

QUOTE(Grajindo @ Nov 4 2010, 04:21 PM) Just like to ask, how about for Nikon? Both D3 and D3s have 9-11 fps right? But I don't understand why 9-11. LOL.. Not an exact figure.. Nikon doesn't do 10fps on FF too. It's the same problem every1 will hit. It's a technological barrier they have hit for now. The nikons are in crop mode when doing max fps. |

QUOTE(futobuta @ Nov 4 2010, 07:37 PM) U better think carefully ah. Not every1 wants an M9 coz it only does 1/4000. I'm a daylight, wide open kinda fella so I prefer the M8 which does 1/8000. When ur shooting at f1, really need the 1/8000. N u better keep at least the 5D coz u will still need an SLR.This post has been edited by ianho: Nov 4 2010, 08:24 PM |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Nov 5 2010, 08:57 AM) No thank u. I don't like to use ND filters. I want to be able to walk in n out of bright n dark places n just snap away without having to screw around with all that. Also, u really wanna put another piece of black glass in front of the beautiful lens? N u want me to buy an ND filter for every lens? The UV filters alone already cost me rm700 per piece for each lens. Add sumore ND in front will not only degrade IQ, it will degrade my wallet. |

Giaogiao pang, Tokina is very nice. The company was started by a bunch of Nikon lens engineers. They left n started Tokina. Very good lenses at much better prices but why u want 24-70 on a 50D? Not nice ler not having wide angle. It's almost 40mm on ur 50D!

Wah the new Sigma paint damn nice. My Sigmalux is supposedly 2nd version paint oredi which was said to prevent the peeling probs but it's still the rubbery paint. This new smooth paint is much better now.

QUOTE(saru88 @ Nov 9 2010, 10:58 AM) is Kata backpack reliable? Is KATA reliable? KATA started out making equipment for the Israeli Special Forces. U say reliable or not?i saw Kata DR-466i and Kata Dr-467i, which can fit laptop as well... and the price is kinda cheap... i might be getting that... cuz im really a backpack guy... i go everywhere with my backpack, but if a bag specially for camera only, i'm not that interested... at least these come with laptop compartment... i might be getting 5MDH as well... cuz it's really a small sling bag... i dun like big sling... |
