Guys, i have a budget of RM3500. I should get a 60D with 18-55mm or a 550D with 18-135mm?
Does the 18-135mm better than the 18-55mm in terms of sharpness and image quality?

QUOTE(ComradeZ @ Nov 10 2010, 05:09 PM) The swivel screen is one, and also i like the substantial grip of 60D. According to DigitalRev, 60D and 550D dont stand too far away from each other, and 60D is ahead of 550D. How much is the 18-135mm if im getting it separately after some time? Added on November 10, 2010, 5:16 pm QUOTE(-kytz- @ Nov 10 2010, 05:13 PM) That depends on his shooting style,no?--------->Street photography yo! Mostly i shoot landscape, structure (dont think i'll do portrait) and most of the time it will be travel cam. Good night time performance is preferred as well.Anyway, i also want a 60D hehe This post has been edited by Criptonox89: Nov 10 2010, 05:16 PM |

Really? DigitalRev showed 550D has a softer image compared to 60D...
Btw..how's the AF capability of 550D and 60D? |

Due to limited vitamin M, i guess i'll go for 60D with 18-55mm and later on will upgrade to a Tammy 17-50 or get a telephoto 55-250mm (if i really need that range). The 18-200mm looks perfectly awesome on the 60D, while 18-55mm looks a little tiny on the 60D body.
just my 2 cents.. |

a 60D body is RM2900 + Tamron VC 1750 = RM4650
I have only 3500 tablets of Vitamin M. That's why i left the Tammy for further upgrade.. |

hey guys, just for myself a 60D..
To all the people out there who are still confusing whether or not 60D is a good start, here's the answer...you cant go wrong with it. It's fairly easy to operate provided you have a basic understanding of photographing. Cant wait to bring it to my holiday trip. A sample picture taken with it.. ![]() Im not sure if there's anything wrong with this pic...c&c pls =) |

QUOTE(Q-fays @ Nov 15 2010, 03:59 AM) I am interested to buy canon 550D (body only)... It's better that you approach the seller/shop with this question. It's solely depending on them. Ask and think about which one worth the most.. The question is what will I get beside body and all the accessory that come with the original box? memory card?bag?etc? and if I want to buy battery grip ,they will give extra battery or we have to purchase separately? thank. |
