cant expect it has nearly non-CA mah with the price tag biggrin.gif
even the 17-55 IS will have CA in the cases above, that is if the background is too bright eg sunlight.

85L focus throw is very long and of course because of the big aperture.
50L will be faster , still kinda slow tho.
