Oh okay. I'm currently using a cheapo hotshoe shotgun mic, will have to do for now since I don't really plan on going deep into videography. Seems like a lot of people recommend the Juicedlink preamps. At least with the preamp the annoying background hiss can be eliminated and can adjust the gain manually while recording.

Yeah I'm using manual audio gain too, but I find it quite difficult not being able to adjust the levels when I'm recording. Most of the time when I record, the voices won't be at a constant volume, but up and down up and down

Yeah I have the 50L but the Sigma's also something I've looked into for a long time. Always thought it was very sharp and good. The only concern I really had was a bad copy and the crinkle paint. I just happened to chance upon a 50L at a reasonable price sooner than I got a Sigma.

Now that they've fixed the paint I might just get one too.

try 4-6 p.m scenery should be nice by then and when did you took that 1?
