hey, can someone explain to me what's a UV Filter for?
*
Absorbs the ultraviolet rays which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. A multi-purpose,
fine-weather filter for color as well as black and white films. Also serves as a permanent lens protector.Nowadays, UV filters are primarily used to protect the front element of a camera

walao...
U guys talkiing bout buying lens Im so jealous laaa...
I oni able to save RM200 a month (max)
But I'll have to go on diet if I do likewise (which I probably won't)..
Im currently funding for a Flash gun with capability to bounce and swivel..
Cheapest is around RM400 like that (Got cheaper price?)..
But I'll only managed to save enough at least 3 weeks moree (at least*)
*
Saving RM200 per month consider very good oredi lo bro ~
i assume u are talking Nissin Di622 for the RM400 biggrin.gif Of course there are still quite a number of cheaper flash gun that can bounce and swiwel , Yang Nuo is one of them biggrin.gif

between sigma 18-200 or 18-250 OS+HSM and Tamron 18-270 VC, which one is good buy & better picture quality based on your experience?

planning to use this lens for traveling. Mostly on building, landscape & portrait.
*
Digital Camera World magazine December 2010 issue put the Sigma 18-250 OS HSM as one of the "gear of the year" in the super zoom category. biggrin.gif
