Gosh, I just came back from hell. Vomited non-stop since last night, I gave up this morning and doctor gave me a jab.
Then, I forgot to bring my laptop charger back to hometown, edited some shots I took last night, the moment I want to upload them on Flickr, pop! No more battery juice. Sad sad. Been sleeping on bed the whole day. I hope tomorrow will be better... |

QUOTE(pengster @ Nov 6 2010, 02:20 AM) Oh okay. I'm currently using a cheapo hotshoe shotgun mic, will have to do for now since I don't really plan on going deep into videography. But I'm already finding the hotshoe mount mic quite limited already, but what to do, not gonna spend a few Ks just for audio equipment. Well at least not until I'm 100% going into videography la dont worry, bro... even a cheapo shotgun mic will help alot... i'm more to videography, so photography stuff i dun really know.Seems like a lot of people recommend the Juicedlink preamps. At least with the preamp the annoying background hiss can be eliminated and can adjust the gain manually while recording. Yeah I'm using manual audio gain too, but I find it quite difficult not being able to adjust the levels when I'm recording. Most of the time when I record, the voices won't be at a constant volume, but up and down up and down I think i will spend money on audio equipment, cuz i really need a good one. Juicedlink? never heard of it... perhaps i should google it later... yeap, sometimes it's very hard to get the level that u want... furthermore u can't monitor the sound while recording... haha... but wut to do? hv to deal wif it also... XD |

QUOTE(azrash @ Nov 6 2010, 10:15 PM) Just came back from a 2 week tour of duty... doing weapon cleaning now .... and found some bulu behind the focus screen!!! ps: Anyone know how to remove 550D focus screen? QUOTE(charles86 @ Nov 6 2010, 11:17 PM) I'll go (I did actually) with the 18-135mm... peng leng jeng Not the best lens in the world but it's half the price of the 18-200, light (this is important) and has good IS. Image quality .. I can live with. My travel mate actually brought a 28-70 and 17-40 to poison me but most of the time, I stick with the 18-135mm Sample here .... daylight = EF-S 18-135... low light = Sigma 30mm f1.4 http://www.flickr.com/photos/23880047@N05/...251446376/show/ Hope that helps. |

sniper, don't remove focussing screen if you don't want to make your day bad. It is so delicate that a microfiber cloth can scratch it.

It's my short sem, so there's so much to cover within this 2 months which i haven't! Already used kaw kaw, still not satisfied- especially ISO and bokeh department Waaa 550D baru released, now want 600D already ar. The specifications sheet between 550D,60D and 7D is already damn tight. So i dunno how the 600D will even fit, without surpassing the 60D. This post has been edited by -kytz-: Nov 7 2010, 12:51 AM |
