I was hoping to use Yes as my backup broadband in places where my DiGi broadband coverage is poor (like my living room). But looking at the required RM30 a month, I'm not so sure...

Then again, if Yes coverage is better than DiGi at my place, I might junk DiGi Broadband altogether.

Same as my case, planning to use as spare line.

So their claim of "Your credit never expires" is just FALSE ADVERTISEMENT? The RM30 will expire in a month?

The only good reason to have Yes for me is just to make calls, use it for voip and boast how fast my connection in Malaysia is at a speedtest site.

It's only good for voice calls, internet messaging and casual browsing occasionally.

RM30 for a GB is way overpriced for downloading. You wouldn't even want to download a Linux DVD image because it'll cost you close to RM100 for each attempt.

From all the info i got thus far.... looks like NO... you need to buy all the device urself, with RM50 activation fee some more...

So minimum start-up price will be, at minimum, RM99 (for the USB modem)+RM50 (Activation Fee) = RM149 (plus first month RM30, may be) And RM10 stem duty... whatever thing, government sure share some "profit"

I think the USB dongle is free with the first RM100 starter credit.

Originally, it's 6pm... somehow, changed to 4pm in the morning... so, now back to 6pm???

Better tell YES dun play play with the time... pls be careful with all the time.

It's free unless you stay with YES for 10 months... this is another form of "contract" to me coz you wouldn't be able to use the device other place.
