QUOTE(erymanthus @ Oct 28 2010, 04:15 AM) Hi freakfingers12, following your footstep I did my home screen like this. Haha nice! isn't that why we love android so much? virtually a different phone now right?Still refining it. Not perfect yet. Just sharing with u guys the power of android platform which is so customisable compared to other phone OS. QUOTE(JustForFun @ Oct 28 2010, 09:20 PM) Okay my hands got itchy and I flashed the 1.6ghz kernel... achieved Quandrant score of 3136 and 12.31 MFLOPS... Wah, speed of netbooks on the market... Where did you get that kernel? Am interested to try... So how is it? Did you revert it back to original kernel now or sticking with 1.6?Edit, found the thread. But don't know if I should flash it or not... xD This post has been edited by freakfingers12: Oct 28 2010, 10:43 PM |

Here's neocore benchmark on Tegra based gpu... Hmm, wonder how PowerVr SGX540 will perform on that resolution... This post has been edited by freakfingers12: Oct 29 2010, 01:28 AM |

Just curious about the battery life. I'm using stock rom with voodoo lagfix and voodoo color beta4. I usually charge my phone fully before i sleep and when i wake up after about 6 hours, only 75-80% is left. Another things is 3-4 hours of more or less continuous of angry birds or fruit ninja will drain my battery from 90% to 25%. Make sense? Btw i don't change the 3g settings and leave my phone brightness 1t 25% all the while. Battery life is horrible in my opinion.

Tested Fusion 1.1 w/JACS kernel. It was snappy but keyboard was a little buggy. Music player hangs at times, and USB connection reboots everytime I connect to the computer. Generally, it was for OC purposes only. I didn't do any tests before switching back to default rom cause there's no way to get into nandroid recovery, the buttons got mixed up with Samsung Vibrant.
Switched back already... Was going to try flashing the kernel on my froyo but not in the mood right now... Maybe tomorrow la... |

That is what Maxis ppl told me when I bought mine. However I got stamp from Maxis, I don't know why yours is not stamp.coz maxis din stamp it , and din mention need send. |

Assuming that you don't turn on your WIFI/3g, eight hours of sleep should deplete at most 5-8% of your battery with stock rom. Try reconditioning your battery.QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Oct 29 2010, 02:25 AM) Tested Fusion 1.1 w/JACS kernel. It was snappy but keyboard was a little buggy. I didn't do any tests before switching back to default rom cause there's no way to get into nandroid recovery, the buttons got mixed up with Samsung Vibrant. Obviously it will be buggy since it's not for the international version. Works perfectly fine for me. I am not sure if you could use the Mahattan RC0 kernel that allows you to flash to 1.6ghz as it's customized for Vibrant but according to the team, they are releasing it for the other variants also. I flashed back to JAC kernel after a while because I feel that 1.6ghz is overkill and setCPU doesn't allow me to stop at 1.2ghz.... It must be 800mhz or 1.6ghz.Switched back already... Was going to try flashing the kernel on my froyo but not in the mood right now... Maybe tomorrow la... |
