I think the best JP6/JPM combo so far is that of Darky's. Please go to the link below:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814091

All you needed is included in ROM including 2e recovery mode previously unavailable in most custom ROMs. And the fact that it supports ClockworkMod recovery method makes flashing easy. Not to mention it includes voodoo pre-6 so right after flashing and reboot, voodoo lagfix is applied immediately. I'm loving this ROM so far and it is speedy.

Another nice feature is the lock screen. It includes information like alarm time, clock date-time, even battery level during charging. Well, the rest of the features you may read it from the link provided.

Hi, can someone shed some light on the difference between Voodoo and Ext 4 lagfix? Are both using Ext 4? Compare to Ext 2 and RFS does Ext 4 cause more wear on the memory?

not recommended you to use this. i heard it cause some problem.
its still in test mode, which mean its not safe.
but if you must apply this kernel, just tell us how it goes
*
I've applied the kernel, so far so good. This version is the one with 341Mb instead of 356Mb. It was mentioned that this version does not have the 3G and also HD recording problem. I've verified the video recording but did not test the 3G calling yet.

Will monitor and see. Nice to have more memory. I guess more applications can be opened without suffering from low memory.

#PS: No need to disable the lagfix to apply this kernel.

Hi, i managed to get my phone bricked (phone - exclamation mark - pc logo) and then able to get to download mode and re-flash JPM. After flashing complete, it went to recovery mode and the below error shows:

update media...
e:can't mount \dev\block\st110 (invalid argument)
e:copy_dbdata_media. can't mount dbdata:

Your storage not prepared yet. Please use UI menu for format and reboot actions.
Copy default media content failed.

The phone manages to boot to Galaxy logo pass the flying objects, but stuck at the "S" logo and then vibrates a couple of times before switching off.

Any idea how to solve this?

Running base JPM with rasdeep OC and UV kernel. Using conservative governor and CPU fluctuates between 100 and 1200Mhz (100-800 Undervolt 0.50, > 800 Undervolt 0.25)...Quadrant with ULF Ext 4 ~1756...So far so good. Monitoring the battery now.

ok that sound relieve to me tongue.gif

anyway,i trying to apply battery mod that can show my percentage in battery bar..
i use recovery method that rename the zip file to update.zip and apply it on recovery mode
but it is failed coz of unsigned package or something like that

any idea? hmm.gif

What ROM are you on now? I believe you need 2e to flash unsigned zip files.

I saw you asked the question in XDA...please flash any one of the ULF kernel with CWM...they have 2e integrated which you can select in recovery mode.
