TeamWhiskey has got SGS Vibrant running at 1.6ghz stably... wonder if I should flash to 1.6ghz too... Doesn't seem to be very useful to me as my phone is already smooth as hell...

I wonder if it improves battery life

It does, if it give you the ability to downclock it.

Last time my HTC Hero was downclocked to 200mhz when Sleeping, 700+ when needed on demand.

When not using it LAST super long

MMS APN already properly set up?

-------------------
Voodoo JM9. Yesterday I am left with only 59% at midnight. After I charge again, the battery recalibrates and I have got 90% left. Looks like it doesn't suck much power after all.

your kernel must enable the ability to adjust clock speed first.

Then you can use app such as setCPU or overclockwidget to adjust.

I didn't try it... flashed it back to Fusion. It actually came with a GPU OC too... TS screenshot shows 89FPS with neocore.

Speed improvement part is very noticeable. Booting speed is much faster and computing of application list is also smoother and takes shorter time.

Hi, i managed to get my phone bricked (phone - exclamation mark - pc logo) and then able to get to download mode and re-flash JPM. After flashing complete, it went to recovery mode and the below error shows:

update media...
e:can't mount \dev\block\st110 (invalid argument)
e:copy_dbdata_media. can't mount dbdata:

Your storage not prepared yet. Please use UI menu for format and reboot actions.
Copy default media content failed.

The phone manages to boot to Galaxy logo pass the flying objects, but stuck at the "S" logo and then vibrates a couple of times before switching off.

Any idea how to solve this?
