thank.. as i m removing my OCLF trying to apply Voodoo 5 to my ZSJP2 via odin

got the female voice at the start up page. Then now at the page where it wrote : ~ERNEL PANIC PLOAD MODE

as all the sifu here said.. it may take some time.. so i just wait for it to move..
wonder will this work on ZSJP2 or not la...

or i have to flash to a new fw?

i can't disable voodoo, will this give problem when i flashed later?

Indeed.. If u familiar with Odin, tt is very simple to install. But u can also do the update way. All u need to hv is the 3 buttons combo, ie download and recovery mode.

I belief there are numbers of peoples do not suffer from GPS issue. At least I m proudly to say tt mine dun hv such issue since day 1 I got this fon. Hence there might be a issue on hardware prob. u seem to think tt froyo is the solution for u. What would happen if it doesn't? R u going to scream ur head off again?

Lag issue? I think it is quite common issue for Software.related Programme. do u think other phone maker dun hv this issue? There are tons of alternative to overcome it. Jz look around for it.

if ft really annoyed u in term of The release of froyo, maybe getting rid of the fon early seem to be the best option for u and make sure dun buy any Samsung related product in near future, tt would seriously reduce ur chance being admitted to CCU.

Me on JPM + Voodoo 5, 3 days now.. opening 3-4 apps simultaneously, Internet, market, facebook, angry birds - very minimal lag noticed.

no force close so far.

The most significant thing i notice, compared to ZSJP2, the battery life, seem last longer

When i want to upgrade my voodoo from Voodoo 5 Pre3 to Voodoo 5 pre6, do i have to ?
create the disable voodoo,
reboot,
delete voodoo folder
odin voodoo 5 pre6 ?

or

i can odin straight to voodoo 5 pre 6 without the abovementioned steps

JPM + Voodoo 5 Pre 6:

Yesterday was the 1st time i use all my GPS sw in my SGS, ie Bruts, and Papago.
- locking fast within 2 sec!
- but.. for Bruts.. while driving, the cursor cant keep on the track, it look more 'lost' than i, this didnt happen when i was on previous FW ie, ZSJP2.

- Papago : 1st time since i started using Papago on my SGS since my day 1 of having it from Maxis, i encounter FC while using it. Hence unable to tell whether it will have the problem like Bruts.

haiz... nvm, i seldom use the GPS. I always been so proud of my phone whenever i see other complain about the GPS issue, but this time i need to share the experience. Don't get me wrong, locking got not problem at all.

Oh.. gosh... installed JPM, and now i only notice, when i sent chinese sms... i can type, can send, but they will not receive the chinese words...

anyone of you using JPM experience this?

how bout flashing it with asian CSC..?

This really annoyed me, gotta find a fix for this
