@Frankgan, I never flash kernel from recovery. Just flash .tar files in Odin. No it wont wipe your apps. Just flash the one you want.

Sweet. I will try flashing kernel immediately. rclxms.gif

hmm, I dunno coz no exp in tat. lol... the kernel's aint good enuf? can tell me d reason for changin kernel??
*
The kernel is fast in nature but big battery sucker. I have about 50% after flashing and restore of apps alone (from my sd card via mybackup pro) sucked 30+% of battery. 18% left now.
I guess it will barely last me a day of usage if thats the case for this kernel

Dear All Sifus,

I have noticed that my phone is starting lag as the days go by. I have read through this forum but still dont really understand on how to "flash" or "upgrade" the phone. Is there anyway to make my phone to be running smoother? I have checked on the phone usage and dont seem to show anything running, but the phone seems to be laggy still.

Thanks in advance ya. notworthy.gif

cheers.

remember to keep the efs folder somewhere safe such as dropbox, dont keep it in hard drive or hard disk or any disk, cause it contain your IMEI, if you messed up your IMEI and dont have the efs folder, you cant even enter the market as i heard.

dropbox the safest place or any other server that you can upload flex.gif

im not to sure of the right way, my way is to charge full, delete battstat, turn off, still charging until full, on again, charge until full.

some way of i heard, drain your battery until empty, charge it, delete batstat, turn off, charge, turn on charge

As you know, some apps will run by itself automatically. Try to use Automatic Task Killer and set the frequently to kill apps every 30 minutes.

imho, running apps on the background drain battery

Many other ways to help you reduce your phone lag.. use Advance Task Killer to kill unused apps. Or just use stock Task Killer and clear ram.
The other way is use the lag fix such as Voodoo or OCLF. For beginner, OCLF (One Click Lag Fix) is easy to use. You can get it from market.

Good Luck..
