c the 1st page for the APN setting

ya..i already do the setting as the 1st page mentioned..but still cant access..tats why i wondering isit something wrong with other settings

my suggestion is to check the APN setting, try compare with the apn given in the 1st post with the one in your phone,

do you see any 3g/E/H logo at the notification?

to check the setting, at homescreen -> menu -> setting-> wireless -> mobile networks -> make sure use packet data is checked, tap access point names and compare setting

EDIT: woops didnt notice someone already say check APN,

make sure packet data is checked, disable any apps that may intefere with data such market enabler, power widget and such

hey..have froyo released yet? because when i hook up my galaxy s to kies (ver. 1.5.3.10103_100)..it said its already installed with latest version..but i'm still using eclair

I had the same problem before. All I did was I went to Maxis center and had my SIM card changed and it worked after that. Give it a try.

not officially release at malaysia yet, the announcement say end of november (30/11)

but you can however install the EUROPE version of froyo, using kies or flash it stright to your phone

icic..seems like i need to visit maxis center cos i cant still cant access even though i oledi set the APN as the 1st page mentioned..isit FOC for changing the SIM card?

Got any software to control Mobile network? What firmware are you on?

nope..i din install any software yet..but got few games(such as angrybird)..firware version is 2.1-update1..din do any root or update..

Have you tried restarting your phone?

Is this your first time using Maxis? If so have you enable 3g by dailing *136#?

Download 3G Watchdog to monitor your data usage but remember to give some allowance just incase Maxis decided to screw you up with data over usage

owh..really...emmmm..can u teach me how to install europe version of froyo using kies? because when i open kies n click on the firmware upgrade..its said..my sgs is already install latest version...huhuh help plz...

data roaming needed to be check only when you go outside malaysia and still want to use celcom for internet, you only need to tick use packet data, the 1st check box, for the 1st month many of us here will give you warning not to use your data very much, you can check the previous thread v3 v2, many of the people that use maxis data, get charge until rm500 for the first month, so careful please, dont want another person fall into this trap.

dont check the data roaming if u at oversea unless u need to use it urgently..
it will cost u a bomb

you need to do some registry hack of the kies, if not mistaken few pages back got how,

any one here flash JPA/JPO using kies can help our member?

you can also use ODIN, a flashing software, you second post have guide on how to flash using oding, second post if not mistaken
