guys...i'm considering buying galaxy s from maxis..or should i just get an iphone? in dilemma now..

Galaxy tab also has similar package with 3Gb data promo, but not at RM1099, I think RM100 more. Can't remember exactly. Conclusion is, whatever promotion applies to Android phones also applies to Galaxy tab..

Yea I know . My point is galaxy s can be more cheaper than current offer price by Maxis. It suddenly flashes in my mind that monopoly by one company really put consumers in a disadvantage position.

In US, SGS selling for USD199 and galaxy tab around USD599 for subscription also. I see the selling price for galaxy tab in US and here is more or less, but for SGS there is a stark difference. Same thing with Iphone and Ipad. if Digi does not sell Iphone, I think Iphone price will be more expensive than now.

Weird.. This is what happening to me too.. After applying lagfix, my sgs turns to black screen n keeps on vibrating

I've reflashed using odin but still got the same problem after the lagfix ULF

If you screw up the firmware without having a 3-button recovery, they will change board. The service center does not use JTAG to reflash a dead phone.

Hence better fix the recovery before you modify anything.

Need to decide now. Anyone can confirm the AP set can update to 2.2 froyo?

That's not the phone problem. That's service problem. AP or ORI works the same after flashing to the same firmware.
AP = different region, you don't know where but most probably Europe.
ORI = Asia, our region.

On the other note, I went to maxis HQ to see the galaxy tab but it is not on display. They said got ready stock but they didn't put up for display yet. Damn..
Wonder if it got download/recovery mode like SGS, hehe.

today one of my friend go to maxis centre to get SGS... before this he wanna get IP4 or BB... but after try my SGS he changed his mind 
we go to KLCC but no stock and need to wait for 2 weeks... then we go to pavillion and lucky coz they have limited stock there...

maybe next month, 2 of my friends will get SGS too...
