QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Nov 6 2010, 11:02 PM) Nope, it's a full rom, including kernel, and he stated that he included hardcore's H1-250Hz kernel, so you just have to flash the rom from CWM and you're good to go. I assume that I'll just need to flash the kernel as the pda in Odin, without partition and any other things right? If you want a different kernel later, just flash from Odin. You don't need to wipe or restore. I somehow saw it in Doc's site, it says to upgrade the kernel in recovery? whats that? |

There shouldn't be any problem to leave those cards in there.

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Nov 7 2010, 12:30 AM) Here you go:Alternative Kernels: Install from recovery, disable all lagfixes first Hardcore SpeedMod Froyo kernel-vH1250hzLink Download Sztupy .3 kernel Link Download Raspdeep 1.1 OC kernel (note, this is overclocked to 1.2GHz) Link Download Zenkinz 19 oc kernel (note, this is overclocked to 1.2GHz) Link Download Its stated in the second post of the Doc's thread. Anyway, just to reconfirm and final confirm, if I want to change to another kernel while I am on DOC'S v7.6.1, I just connect to Odin and flash my preferred kernel as PDA. Right? Would like to try some other kernel and see how it goes. Last question,do we need to disable all lagfix before flashing to another kernel? @Frankgan, I never flash kernel from recovery. Just flash .tar files in Odin. No it wont wipe your apps. Just flash the one you want.

Any good performing kernel with good battery life? |
