May i ask usually when we increase vcore ; we increase it by 0.025 or 0.05 every time ; but what bout NB freq ?

So i guess , after I get a stable vcore and multiplier ; i should adjust my NB too ? But how do i check for best settings for NB ? checking through boot ups also ?

It is risky. My vcore last time didn't reach 1.5v. Only at 1.4 something near to 1.5v. I kept adjusting the setting through bios. So that it can stable when I go 4GHz. That is what I meant forcing. Haha. It was not stable though. Lucky I still able to RMA this mobo last time. Planning to sell it. Anyone interested? haha

0.025 is ok but quite a huge leap actually.. but some mobo like most gigabyte only can 0.025 per notch..
for nb freq, that is not really a problem.. 2.4ghz only need stock volt. 2.6ghz around 1.25, further is not recommended cuz the voltage increase will be not worth for the speed gain.
ex : 2.8ghz need around 1.4v, 3ghz (if possible ) maybe around 1.5v which is high already..
i might be wrong with above but i think that is roughly the numbers.. and also this apply on deneb only (perhaps on older revision of denebs)

well..depends on ur mobo model/manufacturer..

sorry my bad, didnt read properly. your is BE version, so just increase the multiplier will do. this is the special about the BE, you can increase the multiplier to OC. the way i ask to use lower multi is to find the limit of fsb. to see how high the fsb can go. if can reach 280-300fsb @ HTT, then its consider ok @ high. so can use higher multi to oc.

then the limit will be the voltage and speed ram. correct me if i'm wrong

Guys i've some question bout unlocking...

I've tried to unlock my X3 425 but turns out it become a X4 B25 with 1 core activated only...

my settings was Unleash mode - Auto, system could not boot...
so I set to Manual which core 2-6 set to ON, it became X4 B25 with 1 core activated only,
tried to increase Vimc from 1.25->1.30->1.35 but no effect...

Anyone have experience for cases like this?

bro, try to set core 2 to 4 on, while core 5 & 6 disable. sb710 uses diff kinda core unlockin method.

and 1 more question regarding CPU-LLC,
If i set to 51.6%, Vdrop wil be from 1.41->1.39v
If i set to 100%, Vdrop wil be from 1.41->1.34v

So doesn't mean 100% is the best for every case is it?

Or my understanding of CPU-LLC is not correct?

on my board llc is either enabled or disabled, no % thingy bro. for ya case, i'd pick 51.6%. are those d options available or there are more? how bout cpu-nb? got llc too?

but now core 2,3,4 on I am able to get X4 B25 but with 2 cores only...

hey guys...was oc ing my old mobo wanna c how much far it can go...945 proc

so it was like tis...got to 3.840ghz,256x15...gave d proc 1.45v,i think...running prime95,blend i think...almost 1 hour,no bsod,but got 2 errors...(got lots of i think coz not in front of pc rite now)...i tinker juz htt n volt rite now
when running avg,bsod...
any advice how to make it stable...will upload cpuz tis noon
