I'm using MSI MS7599 870-G45 currently also , and planning to OC my Phenom II X4 955BE.

Any advice that I could take from you guys ? as in what should my limit be ? I'm new.

Lol. Same here. I only able to go 3.8GHz last time. I was using same mobo and processor as yours.  thumbup.gif  After some time forcing it to 4GHz, boom! Mobo fail. Haha  doh.gif

Gosh , that's dangerous LOL....
But what did you mean by forcing though ? Was it stable or unstable 4Ghz ?
I checked on reviews on 870-G45 , some review claims it's possible to OC to 4Ghz though ; but kinda risky.

try using lower multi for the proc first. see how high the fsb can go. let say, use multi 10. (fsb*10)

Meaning if possible , I shouldn't use high values of multi ? but instead increases the FSB ?
Hmm , guess gonna do some read up on FSB.
How much can I add to FSB actually ? As in for every increase ?

I read alot on increasing CPU multipliers , or increasing FSB ; but after gaining stability.

What bout the tweaks on HTT , amd etc ?
I couldn't find a good guide on them.

What's the use of tweaking those anyway ?
and is CPU OCing somehow related to RAM ?
Cause I read about those tight timings when they mentioned it ; and got more and more confused =.=

cpu oc relate to mem, no if adjust multiplier only
yes if adjust htt..

leave the ram, oc ur proc 1st and next is nb freq.i assume u have a BE processor..

use of tweaking? altering things la.. so that u can make ur system more stable..

May i ask usually when we increase vcore ; we increase it by 0.025 or 0.05 every time ; but what bout NB freq ?

So i guess , after I get a stable vcore and multiplier ; i should adjust my NB too ? But how do i check for best settings for NB ? checking through boot ups also ?
