That's not true. I had Hong Leong Bank Basic Savings Account and they do not charge annual fee for their Basic Savings Account ATM card.

I noted you mentioned few posts back that Alliance MC overseas rate still ok. Told my wife to go get her own Alliance MC Plat since she has PB banking with them (she has 5 supp cards from me, so when she go buy her stuffs with her own card she won't hear me nagging how expensive the things are when I see the statements, ahaha) and this will also help her build her own Credit History. I kind of like Alliance because of their evergreen reward points and cash back capped at RM800+ per annum.

How do I pay back to the bank once I had use a credit card?

1. cash deposit machine @ bank of your credit card

2. online transfer, eg: cimb clicks pay your credit card

there is some balance of 5k in gold

since its an upgrade, how long will cimb transfer the balance in gold cc to the platinum cc?

asking since i want to Bt the amount to ocbc but not sure can use the cimb gold acc as afraid might be closed since platinum already activated

No it doesnt show what you said. it's a Savings Account-i.

I felt something must have gone wrong. The bank has not completed the account conversion process but told me that it's already done. i have filed an official complaint via email to HLOnline.

I requested a refund of RM8 atm card fee as well, as MilesAndMore said HLB's BSA does not have atm card fee.

hi there... planning to apply for a credit card soon... wanna ask dat ... must i wait til i got 3 month pay slip to apply or its there anybank allow to apply wif 1 month play slip??? coz i just started to work almost 2 month.. beside pay slip... can tell me any other document dat needed??? n which bank /card type suit me ... salary 1600, allowance 300 monthly but not listed in da pay slip.

How could the Officer say the account has been successfully converted? She said she checked through HL database wor...I asked for a clear explanation from the bank, and not forget to tease HLB's incompetence.

i plan to close my HL savings account and open a basic savings account and get the debit card together with the debit card with tngo, does hlb allow conversion from savings to BSA? as i asked before for CIMB , they dont allow this, you have to open another account

Yes, HLB does allow account conversion from regular type to basic type. However, I doubt Debit Card is available under BSA, because BSA only offers free ATM card, not free Debit card.
