I got an email from OCBC saying that they offer me another 2% rebate for internet banking, thus make the rebate total 10% (5% titanium + 3% internet banking + 2% offer)

Anybody else in the same boat?

This promotion is actually offered to almost all existing OCBC cardholders.

Why now plat card's credit limit so low (< RM30k)? My Citi silver comes with RM30k CL. Is the bank short charging me?
*
Reason why Plat starting CL have been reducing is because income to qualify for Plat have been reduced to RM60K which was the minimum income for Gold years ago. However this is good for the general public as Plat cards do offer better travel insurance and purchase protection compared to Gold cards.

As for your Citi Silver RM30K, that may be the max CL already.

Nowadays to show "status" need Premier Cards, Visa Infinite or World Master Cards; then again most us here want the OCBC Titanium card for general day to day use.

Perhaps you need to wait a few more days and check your email frequently. Some forummers received the email 3 days ago but I only received it yesterday.

Your card will be blocked until you get a replacement card.

It should be noted that the charge for foreign transaction using HSBC MasterCard is pretty high ...

[attachmentid=1889532]

Probably it's time to get a Maybank credit card ...
*
I think so too. I have been using cards from many banks prior to this but choose to stick to Maybank World Mastercard for the good conversion rate it provides when spending abroad.

It depends on how efficient the bank is. Normally the CS officer will process it immediately by computer. You can call the CS hotline again to check your card status soon after you have lodged the report.

When apply a new credit card (fresh grad), do i really need to fill in and give them information about my company and my company chop?

Why cc need a guarantor? Guarantor can be anyone or only siblings and parents can be guarantor?

What card you applying, as far as I remember there is no column for guarantor in application form.

It should take less than 14 days after it has been approved. The officer most probably told you 14 days to play safe.

Ambank mastercard. There is a column for guarantor.

So it's mean I had to get a chop from my company to apply credit card, right?

Thanks! I normally received the hardcopy statement quite late.
Does DA accept online statement like the one in OCBC internet banking? Any idea?
