QUOTE(winner @ Nov 18 2010, 04:21 AM) There is a monthly cash back cap for OCBC Titanium (RM50 from 1/1/11 onwards) and Citibank Cash Back Platinum (RM30 for petrol). The monthly cash back cap for petrol using OCBC Titanium MasterCard is RM30 too starting from next year. |

The Star reported that as of 30 Sep this year the total Credit Cards in circulation stands at 8.7million compared to 10.8million end of last year. And only 1 million supp cards now.
That's a whopping 2 million less cards in circulation. No wonder we now hear that even MBB is offering reward points to offset GST. With the GST, the banks are offering more offers to attract new customer and maintain existing customer. Great for us who uses credit cards. QUOTE(chemistry @ Nov 18 2010, 09:39 AM) I don't think it is capped at RM30 for petrol. Someone mentioned long ago in this thread that the cash back is RM30 when using the OCBC website sample calculator for cashback. But it is not mentioned in the T&C. |

From January 2011 onwards, the maximum cash back per month for OCBC Titanium is RM50. This cash back cap is for all retail transactions regardless of whether the transactions are from 1% or 5% rebate categories. It is stated clearly in the T&Cs and OCBC website.QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 18 2010, 10:27 AM) I think it should be the other way round. Anyway, as what hye said, the difference could be very marginal. |

QUOTE(winner @ Nov 18 2010, 04:21 AM) 1,000 ESSO points = RM15 fuel actually, equivalent to additional 1.5% cash back. Every RM1 spent at ESSO will give you x1 ESSO reward point. Thanks for info. From now on, it's gonna be ESSO all the way Pengsan, just finished registering 10+ payees for OCBC , one OTP for each payee. This post has been edited by sweetpea123: Nov 18 2010, 01:14 PM |
