Any flashing of firmware has risks, even Eclair to newer Eclair firmware. This morning, after a full backup with Titanium Backup app, I tried flashing the z4ziggy custom ext2 kernel and mod script (via update.zip). Everything cool, power consumption seemed better than with voodoo kernel, but every reboot of the phone totally wiped out all apps and data. Even managed to brick the phone twice (because I did not RTFM, so to speak) but since I can boot into download and recovery modes, no biggie.

Am still testing before I decide if I want z4ziggy's kernel or supercurio's voodoo kernel.

try use Smart Copy Free apps.. got copy function and other extra function such as translate..
about the wifi.. dont know what to say.. but mine is superb.. like using wifi on PC
