Anyone knows any Debit Card that can for sure use with Google Checkout? Applying for just another credit card just to pay for Market contents seems a bit drastic, so I guess debit card is the way to go.

I tried using only 2G and turn off 3G today. Wow.
It made a large difference to my battery life. So from now on, only 2G unless I need teethering or emailing large files. |

What are you smoking? 2G wont block data services. Its just a lot, lot slower. But no blocks.

I believe change Network Mode to GSM only for 2G, WCDMA only for 3G. And then theres the Auto Mode.

There are two ways. One is by connecting your phone using the USB cable and select Internet whatever from the menu (if you set it to select which mode).
The other is using Mobile AP and turning your phone into mini hotspot. I prefer mobile AP, since 3G watchdog can still watch your usage when you use it as opposed to the other one. |

So basically, only use 3G if you want to:
- Make video calls. - Download some shit fast. - Teethering. For just regular chats and notifications, 2G is enough. |

Apparently Downloading Social hub will have 2 new apps in your phone, Samsung Email (the one I mention earlier) and Samsung IM, which integrates with yahoo, gmail and msn msg.

QUOTE(sorna @ Oct 15 2010, 09:36 AM) For "Alt-Tab" you might want to use prehome app from market. This brings up all the active apps (and recent apps) when you press the home key. Just holding Home button will already display recently opened apps which you can select and use as Alt-tab-ish thingy. No need apps.Cheers. ![]() |
