QUOTE(matsuru @ Oct 4 2010, 12:56 PM) I am doing it. See page 7 on my post. I tried this method earlier on with original voodoo v3 + oclf. Later I uninstall oclf coz I scared got conflict. After reading the thread at xda. I decided to try again using the new voodoo with stock kernel (which believe to be better than original voodoo in terms of battery saving) + oclf. So far, after half day of use. My phone is still flying. :-) i heard voodoo with stock kernel will eat your space.. they call it garbage collector.. is it true?

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Oct 21 2010, 02:30 PM) Any flashing of firmware has risks, even Eclair to newer Eclair firmware. This morning, after a full backup with Titanium Backup app, I tried flashing the z4ziggy custom ext2 kernel and mod script (via update.zip). Everything cool, power consumption seemed better than with voodoo kernel, but every reboot of the phone totally wiped out all apps and data. Even managed to brick the phone twice (because I did not RTFM, so to speak) but since I can boot into download and recovery modes, no biggie. Am still testing before I decide if I want z4ziggy's kernel or supercurio's voodoo kernel. memento7, if you want to enjoy speedup and Froyo with lower risk, you should consider sztupy's 0.2 'goodbye rfs' ROM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809109 . thanks alot kmrdeva... u always there to help me
