Yes it is opened unit, I requested for demo and he shown me this unit, after tried then I said I wanna buy, he gave me this unit. I asked if this is a new unit, he said yes. Since it does not have any problem, then I also did not bother much. Should ask for a new sealed unit >.<

hye all...successfully experimented my SGS using oclf and voodo together like in xda forum...seem vvv fast fast enough..scrolling tru app pages are brilliantly fast even i have 10 running apps in background...will report back later for more finding...

long term effect not known yet..heheh..keep my finger crossed...

just want to share my review of my SGP Ultra Oleophobic that I've used for a week now.. vs a cheap rm15 SP that I bought when i got the phone..

SGP Pros
+smooth when swyping, no drag like normal crystal clear SP
+oil cleans off easily, can wipe off with finger also
+good clarity at every angle, no rainbow effect
+comes with camera lens protector as well
+very good packaging, comes with microfiber, squeegee to eliminate bubbles, additional sticker to stick dust out..

Cons
+expensive
+each pack comes with 2 pieces.. dunno when I can use the other piece..

the thing i like most is that it is easier to swype and no drag..unlike the cheap clear SP i was using.. and it is easier to clean the oil off after making calls.

you are welcome. how do you find the surface slickness? for me I find it easier to swype, cause while the surface is not matte, its not draggy like clear SP. really love it. best part is people think that there's no SP on it.. so clear 

haha..the message and call delay i can tolerate la..but sometimes when i turn the display on to see a message by moving the puzzle piece the touchscreen cant even detect my finger at all, made me look like a fool as some people behind me thought I dont know use touchscreen..any1 had this experience? 

I do have this problem often when running JM5 firmware. Now never encounter such problem when using JPK.

havent tested it out yet but Bap3 taught us this...try this method..
for those on eclair 2.1..i got alternativemethod of restarting your phone in recovery method instead of using 3-button combo...(cannot applied to sets that recovery mode disabled by default)..

1) search for one click root and download it ( also in xda..i forgot the link..hehe)
2) extract the zip file and put it on you computer ( e.g desktop)
3) in the folder delete the root.zip file
4) set your SGS on to usb debugging mode
5) connect the micro-usb to your pc and mount your SGS to it (just drag the notification bar and select copy file to/from
6) copy the update.zip to your phone e.g /sdcard
7) run the one click root software and select one click root 2.1
8) wait for the cmd windows to pop-up and then you can see you SGS will restart in recovery mode
9) use volume up/down on your SGS navigate to apply sdcard update.zip and press home button
10) wallllaaaa..

useful to those who always using update.zip to mod their phone...like me..hehehe..cheer...hope this will help a lot..

yeah the one that cant applied to sets recovery mode is the 3 button combos!
mine is disabled as well . but i havent try this method though..you can try it...
3 button combos def wont work for disabled sets! Bap3 giving this alternative method.

my frend set are also disable and i able to flash it and root it..
lagging doesn't related to rooting...
