In Penang, Digi 3G coverage sucks, bro. Island ok, Mainland problem..

the best 3G coverage still Celcom followed by Maxis then DiGi.

Of course, the over subscription happens to those with plenty of iPhone base users. Meanwhile, it is undeniable that DiGi have good coverage in major cities and towns.
but then again, it depends on the nature of your work/job/etc. Those travel a lot prefer Celcom / Maxis for their wide coverage.

If using 2.2 OS, you just need to hold down back button and press home button. If 2.1 OS, you will need to root your phone and install screen capture app (e.g. drocap2, shootme).

but its quite well known that digi coverage is quite strong in kl, celcom more on the outskirts of the major cities. however maxis having the largest customer base and hence better profit should take the steps to improve their coverage, actually they have to because the more customer you have the bandwidth availability is affected. maxis in my opinion have become a bit cocky and do not really care about the customers requirements cos they know most of their customers have contract obligations to fulfill so we cant change to a different telco.

While everyone expected the update's availability in other regions, Samsung seems to have pulled the update from its servers without offering a comment on its actions. We might only suspect that there were some problems regarding the build since some early adopters have reported lags, slowdowns and some bugs but today's action from Samsung's side could also be a strategic one as Samsung planned the update for all European countries at the same time and somehow the Nordic region got there ahead.

Lets hope they fix all the bugs and problem in this froyo firmware

I don't think Samsung had ever committed to providing Gingerbread for the SGS, especially since current news indicate that Gingerbread is more for tablets than for phones.. Only time will tell. As it is, I am happy enough with Froyo JPM + lagfix for now.

its always chicken and egg.
If they invest now, they are running on 3G. But now the team is doing some R&D for the LTE.

If they hold back for the LTE, it would be beneficial in business wise. Same goes to ROI.

I can't just sit back and wait for Gingerbread, Honeycomb or Icecream - I have other things to do in my life too. Better to make do with what is available and enjoy the journey for now, but keep hoping that new things will be available for the phone..

Sometimes some apps continue to drain battery after you exit due to malfunction or some other reasons.. Normally if I detect abnormal battery drain, I will do the following:

1) Restart or;
2) Go to task manager, clear level 1 RAM (You can clear level 2 if you like).

See if the above works for you or not..
*
what will happene if clear level 1+2 RAM?
