Just updated to JP6 via JM8. Now I can't add a Google account. It says I don't have a network connection or can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. Tried with wifi also same.

Can add my FB and hotmail account. Can login to gmail via the Internet browser.

Nope. You have to backup all on your own before updating the firmware.

Can use appbrain and titanium backup.

I've used the CF-Root v1.2 as the SuperOneClickRoot didn't work for my JP6

I just got mine RM318 today . Last month was the normal RM155.40 monthly charges. Can't even see the bill. Ask them why so much and they say they can't check till the bill is out .

I'm on the 1.5GB package BTW.

LOL! I did the same thing as you but actually not hang. It was converting the RFS to EXT4. The process will take some time depending on how much stuffs you have on the partition.

Is there a new version of brut coming out? I saw the new gmap looks very different from brut16.

You can update the gmap using market access

Go give them hell. I got charged Rm1xx for using extra 200MB on their 3G

Create a folder or file call "disable lagfix" in the voodoo folder and restart your SGS. It will convert back to RFS after the sexy voice.

Then only flash your firmware with Odin to JM8 then JP*.

Then you can delete the Voodoo folder after flashing to JP*.

Yes but I think you can flash the voodoo pre3 without deleting the voodoo folder. Not yet try as waiting for the final voodoo beta 5.

Am wondering. Does anyone have this issue with JP6? It will vibrate once all a sudden while the screen is asleep. When I open to see and there is nothing. Happened a few times for this 2 days.

I can login to Skype on JP6

Stop wasting your time waiting and just sell the SGS and get iPhone4

Anyone on JP6 and getting FC alot? Mine seems to be doing so even updating apps from Market
