no laa... can root one....
If XXJP2 u can usearch and use One Click Root by RyanZA.

For JP3 onwards, must do the long way...
1. pt update.zip and go to recoveryu n install
2. reflash to i900o kernel
3. reflash to i9000XXjp3 (jpc, jph, jph, dxjp1)
4. reboot ut phone and waalaaa... it should be done.... check ur apps for super user.. if got, means u r rooted..

anywau OCR only work for Ecclair and Froyo upto XXJP2 only, JP3, JPC, JPH, JPK - no go, DXJP1 haven't tried.

I thought gtalk is always ON 24/7 by default?
I use gtalk to communicate with my gf. Better than SMS. tongue.gif Still trying to convince people around me to use gtalk than msn.

What is ur firmware n build?

If eclair, google for one click root.

If froyo upto jp2, can use same way... If jp3 onwards must use odin, no other choice.

hey guys, do you know how to move around apps icons?? changing all the positions?? i just uninstall an app in page 2 or 3..
and now it has a blank spot there, i dunno how to move it around  icon_question.gif

my suggestion, DON'T use USB Tethering, as if u use 3G watchdog cannot collect the data usage while USB tethering/Using Kies. Netcounter can collect the data, but not so accurate.
To move icons. It the apps windows, click menu and press edit. Press n Hold the icon u wanna move, and drag to whereu want it to be. Walla, done.
BTW if u press the icon, the option is to uninstall the app...

what firmware u on.... If from froyo and going back to factory/stock firmware, I dont recommand titanium.

GPs (non data using) - papago x5 n ndrive.

Papago is actually free, cause the map is from malsingfreemaps team..u see register/yrial at the start of the app. press trial, n u still get to use it.....

Ndrive- latest version (10) is paid....... But the previous version... Well u guus know. ;p
