i see they slash off the rm218 per month, so i assume after that it'd be rm218 per month.

DrPitchard,
Can you help me contact the Maxis fellows that I've been applied the ONLINE REGISTRATION and no one is actually answering/reply to me? Or should I register it via you? I am OK either way. Tell me what to do, and I'll follow. Thanks. Added on May 24, 2012, 11:33 amAbout the termination thingy, can you explain it more? Added on May 24, 2012, 11:36 amAnd where do I pay the monthly bill? QUOTE(jackiewong @ May 24 2012, 09:32 AM) thx.. by the way.. any 1 hear about what speed they will cap at if u exceed ur quota (if they implement quota).. as i got it from the maxis call centre was 32kbps.. haha.. n some said 10% which will be 1mbps.. n some said 512kbps.. anyone to clarify it?.. if 32kbps.. y not just cut our connection?.. as it is slower than the years ago dial up speed If I am not mistaken, it's 10% for Maxis FTTH (Home Fibre). 32kbps, if I remember correctly, is for wireless. |

This is what Maxis FTTH CS told me :
1. i have fulfilled the min 12 mths contract on my current package, so I'm surely eligible to upgrade to the 10Mbps/$118 package without any penalty.. 2. I get to keep my public IP setup 3. I need to walk in to Maxis Centre to signup! (this is crap..can't they just do it online? Ain't we in the digital age now??) 4. No quota as of now. Well, I don't mean to be nuts, for those who wonders when will the cap be implemented, and what will be the outcome if you hit the cap later etc. etc.... I doubt even TM can tell u and give you the confirmation! So, just relax and signup if you think M gives u what you want... At least I'm gonna enjoy the 10Mbps next week or sooner! |

According to Maxis Forum the replied as below:"quota capping be implemented in the future, the speed will be throttled down to 512kbps. Referring to the terms and conditions Maxis reserves the right from time to time to make any changes deemed necessary and or required either to its services. However, user will be notified of such changes via Maxis portal. In regards to 'Maxis Hotspot' service, we wish to clarify that this feature is yet to be implemented in the near future but is in the planning for future enhancement of the said service." https://forum.maxis.com.my/forum_topic.asp?...000&whichpage=2 |

I'm thinking of subscribing this with my housemates, coz we're moving to a new place. Currently to fix a streamyx line at the new place requires RM50 fee, so thinking might as well sign up for this. What do you suggest? |
