Thanks for your info.. 7ms is really good.. But hell lots of thing to do.. Termination registration installation.. I'm stick to unifi at s moment. Can't afford in time n money.. But it's totally worth it for u when download speed is 1mb/s
*
I thought unifi VIP10 package have a download speed of 1mpbs?

QUOTE(thamch @ May 19 2012, 02:47 PM)
I signed up 3 days ago.  According to the Maxis salesman, it comes with Astro IPTV 20 or 30 channels basic package(FOC).  Launch end June and go Maxis Center to collect the IPTV decoder. :-)
*
30 channels basic that astro normally offer is it? (like rtm1,2 n etc)?
Comes with decoder?

@DrPitchard

My house will only be ready around August/September 2012. Is it possible to register to lock-on the promotional price now and only install and start the contract when my house is ready?

Thanks!
*

Not too sure about the channels.  Will know only at end of June.
It should be the Astro IPTV decoder.

Added on May 21, 2012, 9:43 amAccording to the FAQ, it will be RM118 forever.  Unless after 2 years there are better package, then can switch.
*
an astro decoder?? wow!! shocking.gif

what i found on maxis website

How long is the contract? Do I have to pay extra after my contract ends?
This is a 24 month contract offer. Upon completion of 24 months contract, you still pay the same amount of RM118.
means after that still need to pay 118 after contract ended rite? if they will imposed back to 2xx for sure cust/user will terminate and change back to unifi..huhu
*
mayb that is what most will do after the contract ends n the price revert back to the original RM218..

I'm using streamyx right now. How do i need to subscribe maxis home 10mb? Do i need to terminate streamyx together with existing phone line? The new fibre line will be installed by maxis or TM?
*
I think dunt need as they run on different lines (copper & fibre)..
but if you ald have maxis fibre, u wont need a streamyx as it is like a waste..
i'm using 1Mb streamyx too for quite no of years..
paying monthly rm88 (before adding phone rental n charges)
