QUOTE(jktlee @ May 28 2012, 03:52 PM) Hi everyone, Please check below. Malaysia Consumer power please stand together to curb this unlawfully statement jktlee They can make your house because wifi hotspot and there is nothing you can do about it. If they want Wah...lau!!!! Check out this clause at : http://www.maxis.com.my/home/pdf/home_inte...general_T&C.pdf ===================================================================== You accept and acknowledge that Maxis reserves the right to leverage onto your residential WiFi modem to cater to the Maxis Hotspot service which may be accessible by the general public who are subscribed to the service. The Maxis WiFi Hotspot service does not increase your available bandwidth and will not impact your internet quota nor will it cause degradation of the Service performance, security or risk issues to you. electricity who pay? more users the router consume more power. no security risk? never say so in IT world. can user turn off the maxis modem wifi feature and add in using own router? Added on May 29, 2012, 12:25 pm QUOTE(phantasm0110 @ May 29 2012, 12:11 PM) anyone can confirm this? any more hidden charge?the maxis replyer from maxis forum replied saying there is 6% GST for RM118 which will be RM125.10, additional RM5 for itemised bill https://forum.maxis.com.my/forum_topic.asp?...000&whichpage=5 This post has been edited by coolstore: May 29 2012, 12:25 PM |

QUOTE(MNet @ May 26 2012, 01:06 PM) Maxis wired – looks promising with 6Mbs? Apparently the hype was short-lived. already using maxis fibre?Less than 24 hours, I was already feeling the worst nightmare that continue to haunt me since the notorious TM days. Having snail speed like 4kbs? I run several speedtest at different intervals, the speeds are anything but encouraging…Maxis customer service? Lagi best… Calling 123… Me: I just subscribe FTTH…blah blah blah Cs1: (after getting the details)…sir, you should call 1800 82 2000… Attempting to call few times, manage to get thru after 3rd times… (after waited like 5 minutes)… Me: I have my FTTH installed…the story all over again… Cs2: (suddenly) Can I have the SIM card no?.. Me: SIM card no? Aren’t you listening? SIM for FTTH? You understand FTTH??? Cs2: Yes, sir…let me check (wasting my time again) After getting more details like account no, mobile and etc Cs2: Sir, can I have your SIM no? (WTF!!!!!) Apparently, Cs1 provide me the wrong number, I was supposed to call elsewhere but it took me more than 10 minutes just to clarify that!!! Does Maxis provide simple training to them? I thought the conversion from P1 is final, apparently all broadband services here suck!!!! Sigh! |

QUOTE(amxpayne67 @ Jun 1 2012, 11:12 AM) True that, maxis only provide 2 devices. Anyway Maxis did explain to me to standby 3 power socket for the devices, means there is another device by TM. just get 1 belkin surge protector with multi socket output.Added on June 2, 2012, 1:14 pmseeing some former promoter of other telco 'jump over' to maxis wearing green shirt now ...haha This post has been edited by coolstore: Jun 2 2012, 01:14 PM |
