DrPitchard, is it possible to upgrade from the 6mbps pakage? I only just got mine bout 3 months ago. Seems unfair that new subscribers get that good an offer and make existing customers feel a little shortchanged..

nopez, doesn't include calls to TM fixed line....to 1300 also need to pay, only 1800 is toll free number, regardless from where you call (fixed or mobile, ANY telco provider)

1. No such clause. There is no contract in this world that will side an individual. From housing loan, insurance, service provider, employment contract...etc

2. No trial period. For the record, all fibre broadband internet providers have a lockdown period of 24 months. This includes TIME, TM, Maxis, Vasetti...etc
3. Most probably it will be throttled. But I really doubt it if the quota will be implemented soon.
4. No way at all. Negative. Will surely be able to surf at reasonable speed

Not true. This RM118 @ 10Mbps is for a limited time only. 4Mbps and 6Mbps (the normal packages) will be back once this is over.

I saw from Maxis Forum, if over quota, the speed will cap at 512kbps

as we all know that Maxis is sharing the same infrastructure with TM.. so do u think that.. if TM does not implement the quota so do Maxis?.. As Im still wonder the 100gb can last for how long actually if they implement the quota and not sure it combine dl n ul or only dl itself.. u know.. as now im using the streamyx.. ya only 1mbps. but nvr need to worry about the quota XD..

I thought capping is 10% of your subscribe speed.. 10% of 10Mbps = 1Mbps

if cap at 1mbps.. i really dont mind they implement as im currently using 1mbps streamyx also.. is just like back to the normal speed i used to connect.. but if 32kbps.. holy shit.. y dont they just say if u exceed quota.. u no longer connect to the net.. 

I believe the sharing is at the last mile connection only. All Maxis FTTH traffic will be routed to the Malaysia Internet Exchange (MyIX) , and from there into Maxis network and its international lines. So technically speaking, you are only on TM network for the first few loops only. Since MyIX has very large capacity , it won't overload TM infrastructure because these traffic are all 'local' traffic from your house to MyIx.

Correct me if I am wrong.

i think it should be 10% of normal speed. maybe the 32kbps was for another package with different speed
