QUOTE(DrPitchard @ May 24 2012, 02:00 AM) Correct answer... Haha..my household only uses 2 Lan cables, the rest are laptops which uses wifi..but i have a spare router for the laptops to use LAN cables.Actually, most of the answers to your questions can be found at the respective FAQ of this internet service providers. Added on May 24, 2012, 1:03 am nopez, doesn't include calls to TM fixed line....to 1300 also need to pay, only 1800 is toll free number, regardless from where you call (fixed or mobile, ANY telco provider) Added on May 24, 2012, 1:04 am Yeap, for sure will accept existing subscriber, don't worry!!! :-) Added on May 24, 2012, 1:05 amBtw, call rates besides those free minutes for the Maxis Fibre Home package... Calls to non-Maxis mobiles @RM0.09/min. Calls to non-Maxis fixed lines @RM0.05/min local & RM0.09/min nationwide. Added on May 24, 2012, 1:06 am Much, much, much cheaper I guess even a Primary 1 student will agree with that Added on May 24, 2012, 1:07 amYeap, no more FREE 1st month, not applicable to this package...but the RM50 Jusco voucher is still on!!!!!!!!! Added on May 24, 2012, 1:08 am more than enough for the average user and his/her average family If students colony with more than 10 hardcore gamers, then its not enough I guess... QUOTE(scion @ May 24 2012, 04:12 AM) Would like to know too, please. |

QUOTE(DrPitchard @ May 23 2012, 11:23 PM) Sorry for the late reply, ultra busy and hectic day....catching up with my daily work... no more free 1 month.. sienz jo.. 1. No such clause. There is no contract in this world that will side an individual. From housing loan, insurance, service provider, employment contract...etc Sad fact of life... ><" 2. No trial period. For the record, all fibre broadband internet providers have a lockdown period of 24 months. This includes TIME, TM, Maxis, Vasetti...etc 3. Most probably it will be throttled. But I really doubt it if the quota will be implemented soon. 4. No way at all. Negative. Will surely be able to surf at reasonable speed Added on May 23, 2012, 11:24 pm LOL....still better than being shackled to the office from 9 to 5.... :-) Added on May 23, 2012, 11:25 pm +1 Spot on answers!! People out there, you all are being too paranoid.... Added on May 23, 2012, 11:38 pm Not true. This RM118 @ 10Mbps is for a limited time only. 4Mbps and 6Mbps (the normal packages) will be back once this is over. Added on May 23, 2012, 11:39 pm not sure about PS3, but Diablo 3, for sure can!!!! Coz I'm playing it too.... :-) Added on May 23, 2012, 11:42 pmThe FREE 1st month subscription that I earlier on posted in my signature is not available anymore....sorry guyz..... :-( Just found out this afternoon and spend a long time arguing about it with the Home Dept. Anyway, the RM50 Jusco voucher is still on! And apologize for all the delayed reply today, was very busy at work. Nonetheless, I still managed to reply to each and every PM that I received...phew....and its' close to 1,000 already, for the record... :-) That's all for my update. |

QUOTE(DrPitchard @ May 24 2012, 08:59 AM) Still a VERY, VERY good offer on its own, IMHO. They removed the cherry on the cake, but the cake itself is still secret recipe stuff, not pandan chiffon cake....LOL as we all know that Maxis is sharing the same infrastructure with TM.. so do u think that.. if TM does not implement the quota so do Maxis?.. As Im still wonder the 100gb can last for how long actually if they implement the quota and not sure it combine dl n ul or only dl itself.. u know.. as now im using the streamyx.. ya only 1mbps. but nvr need to worry about the quota XD..This post has been edited by jackiewong: May 24 2012, 09:12 AM |

I thought capping is 10% of your subscribe speed.. 10% of 10Mbps = 1Mbps

QUOTE(soul2soul @ May 24 2012, 09:21 AM) I believe the sharing is at the last mile connection only. All Maxis FTTH traffic will be routed to the Malaysia Internet Exchange (MyIX) , and from there into Maxis network and its international lines. So technically speaking, you are only on TM network for the first few loops only. Since MyIX has very large capacity , it won't overload TM infrastructure because these traffic are all 'local' traffic from your house to MyIx. thx.. by the way.. any 1 hear about what speed they will cap at if u exceed ur quota (if they implement quota).. as i got it from the maxis call centre was 32kbps.. haha.. n some said 10% which will be 1mbps.. n some said 512kbps.. anyone to clarify it?.. if 32kbps.. y not just cut our connection?.. as it is slower than the years ago dial up speed Correct me if I am wrong. |

Was just wondering if it is stable...
Does it has frequent disconnections and such?Cos this plan sounds so great for such a price. |

i think it should be 10% of normal speed. maybe the 32kbps was for another package with different speed
