I doubt that too. The current pricing for 10Mbps is Rm218, will they give discount of almost 50%? hmm..

Even I am now paying RM118 for 6Mbps after loyalty discount.

Anyhow, it will be DEFINITELY FANTASTIC if Maxis does so.

100G quota so is average 3G per day which is like my max download per day from streamyx 1M (which i normally dl ard 2G per day)

so i would say the price is fair

i check my area with jalan and IS AVAIALBLE
but i dont see any fibre from maxis except tm unifi fibre
curious how maxis going todo the fibre???

i wonder when they implant the quota, if we exceed the 100gb quota, how much speed will be throttle? some say 64kbps is it true?

refer back my post i did attached print screen of my torrenting. i never had a down time in a 3 month except once and my router never been off 24/7 since 3 month ago execept once ON 24/7 even balok kampung or working sleeping   trust me so far so good perfect check unifi thread.

BTW im not working with MAXIS , im a banker not promoting maxis just envy with UNIFI thread comunity so many people can help each other improve

I guess you are running on internal IP yeah.. so no game server hosting here even with free public IP.

software/applications (such as Bit Torrent, eDonkey, Gnutella) or file
sharing software (such as Limewire)). These activities may cause
network congestion and can negatively impact the speed at which other
customers can access the internet.

5.2.2 Maxis does not guarantee a service level and/or connectivity to users of
peer-to-peer or file sharing software/applications.

5.2.1 above) allows the download of illegal content which Maxis
prohibits, which is an infringement of copyright and/or intellectual
property rights and rightful owners of such copyright and/or intellectual

download can be traced by the customer’s IP address back to the
customer’s account with Maxis.

I can cut finger, 90% using torrent for illegal copies of thing out there..

5.2.5 Maxis reserves the right to release customer information pursuant to any
copyright (and/or intellectual property right) infringement if it is required
to do so by any law, regulatory body or court of law.

just would like to share what the sales person said

1. Quota implemented in June. =x
2. A IPTV thingy is coming, and its coming this friday? (Announcing this friday) A free device will be sent to your home. (Meaning people who sign up now, can still enjoy the IPTV pack)

Anyway this is my interpretation on what the sales person said, and might be just bullshit.

if im not wrong,according to the months your contract lasts.
