Not that much of power, mine 3.6ghz load + hd4850 725/1125 load topped out at 388w only.
*
im sure with a 4ghz E8XXX proc on stock voltage will use much less power.

well, main reason I wana change is I wan low temperature,
Low heat produce,
coz I am think to change to SFF case with not tat good air flow,
and my system are runnning 24/7/365
I dont want it to burned someday or the overheating make my computer feels lag...

Thinking to change the GC as well to those colder one...

as for power consumption... imagine ure playing game, stressing 2 cores for core2duo... and stressing 2 core for core2quad..., which 1 saves more power?biggrin.gif

multi core supported games are not widely available yet so that benchmark is not taken into account for the time being until they the games that truly benefit multi core is widely available and supported by most of the game makers.

core2duo saves more power bro since load power is lesser even at same voltage.
