wonder why you guys can defend rafa with lack of transfer fund excuses but not RH. besides, it's not like RH has been managing the club like 5-6 years. and most of the players is from rafa era. blush.gif

RH has spend quite significantly so far. i wont say he got limited budget

btw, are we going to get any easier games this season? you tell a neutral this is the most successful club in england with world class players? who is gonna believe?

Again, you lose to a team in League two with a strong line up and playing at home?

You got an Australian, Danish, Greek, Brazilian, Serbian and Dutch International and yet you cant beat a team from League two?

lol...my point was, he unable to bring the club further after a promising season season, not once but twice. and RH was only incharge for how many games? Give him a break, at least till Jan.
you can give rafa what, 5-6 seasons, but not to RH till Jan?

It has always been excuses with Rafa, I know, but how many seasons did Slur Whiskey Nose took to win his first league title? Unless you have selective attention span, I did mention that we looked freaking clueless, we looked like a division 3 team playing football. We should be aiming for a win against Birmingham City, not to be content with. We should be freaking attacking instead of playing long clueless balls. Clueless = Tacticless and we only play well in 15 minutes of a 90 minute match, in almost every game. Apart from the sub par Europa League teams. Is that what you want from Man Utd? Slur even took the effort to screw Torres, which is one of his friends' player but the friend didn't even bother to defend Torres. That is not the manager I want. EFF OFF!!!!

For what it's worth, United was beaten by Leeds last season in FA Cup. LOL.

That being said, IMO, RH should have lifted the spirits of his players by trying winning something. Realistically, you guys have a good chance in Carling and FA Cup. Big teams would want to field either their second XI or youngsters in Carling cup.

Again, IMO, by winning either of this cups, it should lift player's spirit and self-motivation.
*
at this point, MU and Liverpool are different....
1. you guys are spoilt by success. Even if MU dont win anything this season, its still a club very much on the go....(of course we Pool fans will hope that your glory days are ending soon...)...so its different when you get knock out early in the FA cup or Carling cup...maybe a few days of complaint, and a few young immature fans calling for Sir to be sacked...but overall, the club is doing well...

2. More importantly, MU is still producing good football ie flowing football and looking likely to score every time...(bar a few off days of course...)..the green-yellow movement might be unhappy with the Glaziers but they still see good football every week. They still see MU frightening other teams every week...Nani can create chances, lazy Berbatoz is waking up and looking dangerous, Rooney is always Rooney when it comes to goals, and the seemingly evergreen Scholes/Giggs....(feel like taking a bath with 5 bars of soaps after typing all these `praises' about MU)

...but NOT LIVERPOOL at this moment

YEs, we're having loads problems with our own Yanks...we just changed the gaffer, our stars are threatening to leave, the fans are upset against the owners, directors, etc....

but what really matters is when we go to the stadium or turn on the TV...we want to see Liverpool playing well...and playing well enough....some of your fellow MU fans might laugh at us and say we're still living in the past relying on past glories despite our decline, but i'll say sod off them...Liverpool is still a big club...and we fans still want to see good football..

My thoughts, too. This result is just unbelievable. I can't believe that with a team of about 5/6 rather established players, including 3 regular starters for their country, can't beat a League Two side convincingly.

I doubt Rafa would lose to Northampton.

Seriously, Roy's first 6 games were disastrous. I'm saying this not because we just lost to Northampton, but this is a collated opinion from the first 6 games in charge...

Roy, hate to say this but you really need to grind out some results to prove you are up to it. Time will tell.

the reserve players got a beating.. what a surprise tongue.gif shows how our 2nd string squad lacking the quality.

if this was rafa i bet the media have gone all out attacking him. mocking at his rotations and what not. just like what happened against Burnley a couple years back.

RH seems to get off pretty easy on this..

Since Gerrard make so much noise and Torres has no mood to play, sell both as well, get 80 million quid then the owners will not sell the club.....lose lose situation

Sigh.RH has taken more than enough time to know the players in club. It's time to deliver the result.

It's disastrous to have a manager who hardly defend his own players and worse still, publicly, admitted to be happy with one point for the Birmingham match.

People talks about Rafa being cool and unable to get close with his players.I doubt RH will be able to do that...First we have Agger coming out, blasting him and his tactic.Whether Agger was misquoted as he himself as suggested, remain unseen. Secondly, a manager that did not fight and defend his player just because he want to avoid risking his frenship with an uncle that happened to be the manager of our fierce rival.

I won't be surprise if the likes of Agger, Torres left after this and RH to do a Souness by bringing more Poulsen...

Rafa time people call it boring, too defensive minded
Now, it is no more boring, quite correct, but it turns out scary to watch even against lower league team.

I echoed ur sentiments. No doubt RH has wealth of exp in the biz, but his style of football and tactics seems to have a detrimental effect on the players.

Apart from being knowledgable and tactically astute, a good coach must be able to bring the beast out of his players like Mourinho and Hiddink. Players like Babel, Pacheco, Ngog are rough diamonds but failed to be polished by the coaches themselves.

I don't mind losing but not like this. Confidence starts to fade and morale at rock bottom, players not stepping up to the usual tempo. What's next? Star players voicing their desire to join "better" club. Mind you this is LIVERPOOL. Not BLACKpool.( i think blackpool is playing better footie than us at the moment).

After this humiliating defeat, Im expecting ROY to send out a strong message in the next game. If this is not translated to the players , then my money is on Roy to part ways in January.

honestly, i've never in favor of RH to come in, when the odds are up, i was hoping king kenny instead of RH and now that it seems really disastrous and the manager that i would really like now is martin o neil, i mean, look at his record, and i feel he will be a prudent coach to us.

of coz, before anything else, change the OWNERS!!! damn, gillett, hicks.. they are really like shavers!!! grrrr...
