Hi guys, currently holding Citibank gold shell card and I got call from Citibank officer which offering Citibank Platinum Cash Back Card and they mention as following:
(1) Citi Gold Shell Card - 2.5% rebate on shell, 1.5% rebate on other (2) Citi Plat Cash Back Card - 5% rebate on petrol (Limit up to RM600/mth), 2% on grocery, pharma, phone bill, 0.5% on others. I used to swipe this card on petrol purpose but my usage per month is about RM800++ average. Can't fully utilize the benefit of having Citi Plat Cash Back Card. Any card better than those? |

If the application is rejected, I can only accept their decision. |

Hello all, I am planning to travel overseas. My company will want me to pay my own hotel bill first. So i like ask everyone which CC give the best benefit/cash back for overseas use? I understand that overseas transaction will have about 1% admin fees. Thanks. I have CIMB Master, Citi Plat Cash Back and Maybank Petronas. Thanks.

Does the Shell card really gives you 1.5% cash rebate for other transactions? That rate is not too bad. Is there a monthly cash reabate cap for the Shell Card? Any other card, click on my signature below - comparison of cash back card. QUOTE(shauyan @ Sep 16 2010, 08:00 AM) Hello all, I am planning to travel overseas. To save you company money you should use MBB Petronas since the admin rate is the lowest for overseas.Forget about using Citi Plat Cash Back as you be only getting 0.3% cash rebate. Check if you CIMB Master gives you 2X reward points for overseas spending, CIMB World MC does. |

Anyone receive offer letter from SCB on pre approved prefered banking and prefered world mastercard ?
(1) For prefered banking: (i) maintain 72k deposit/investment, or (ii) 400k house loan, or (iii) annual income 72k, take up prefered world mastercard and open M2 account. (2) prefered world mastercard: (i) 2 years annual fee waiver (ii) 30k choice point upon first use (to complement govt tax) Since gold and plat cc is too common, any comment on this cc? |

Just came back from holidays in overseas. I used my OCBC Titanium cc several times in overseas. I wonder whether my expenses in restaurants in overseas will earn me 5% cash back. Anyway, I am already prepared to get only 1% cash back for all expenses in overseas.
On a separate note, I have received the first statement from OCBC via snail mail. Luckily the payment due date is on the first day of each month, same as all my other CCs, without giving me any hassle to remember different dates. The cash back details, however, were stated as a slump sum amount for 1% and 5% each. I still prefer reading my SCB's statement, which shows the cash back earned for every single transaction. |

RM2 is just too expensive Added on September 16, 2010, 12:25 pm QUOTE(Veda @ Sep 16 2010, 12:14 PM) Due to low profile in Malaysia many our citizens do not realize how 'big' OCBC is.
