another question here regarding alliancebank
from the website: alliancebank
"All local and overseas retail purchases except petrol and government agencies will entitle you to 2X rewards throughout the tenure of the card, not just during promotional periods. Your TBP do not expire and you can redeem whenever you like, with special redemption privileges and discounts from time to time."

however, they give me point for telekom payment, but not for tenaga TNB bill payment. they said TNB is government. is it correct?

alliancebank cheat as well

if you have two or more cards with MBB you need to issue separate cheque for payment for each cards. This is my second time where the system put all my payment in one card even I have stated clearly behind the cheque. nightmare  mad.gif if my request to waive for late charge and interest reversal is declined definitely will cancel both cards
*
dun wry, they will reverse the late charges and interest for you, because your total amount stated in cheque = total outstanding charges for both card.

not sure whether this question has been brought up before..

I have 10k CL, my current balance is RM0, I go and pay RM10k, so now my current balance is -RM10k

Can I swipe a transaction of RM12k?

I purposely submitted my application by hand to OCBC HQ at Jalan Tun Perak last Friday. Yesterday I called up OCBC hotline to check the application status, I was informed they were still processing my application. It's been 7 days already.
That's true. When I was still with CitiGold last time, my RM told me the highest CL for Citibank Malaysia was RM450k.
HLB has also recently joined the generous group by giving free 12,000 points annually for 3 years.

Alliance and MBB do not give service tax reimbursement. For them, they would rather lose customers than simpy giving free points.

This applies to PBB as well..

The RM2 service fee is correct. Yeah ... RM2 is still better than paying for petrol but believe me many rather drive!

its true.. but IBG has limit of rm5000 per transaction..so if ur card statement balance is.. let says rm8000, then u would have to pay for 2 x rm2 (2x rm0.5)

It depends on the bank.. for gold card, some bank use normal post which x requires signature, some bank use registered post which requires u to sign
(nt sure about maybank)

for me, maybank petronas is not a good option, unless u really spend a lot on petronas

You might consider OCBC titanium, it meets all your requirement. to you, the major drawback maybe is its little branches and atm network compare to maybank, otherwise, it is better than maybank

Always pay the amount based on each card's outstanding amount.
Principal don't need to pay as the bank owe you RM5.40 as Credit.
Supplementary card need to pay exactly per card balance (don't lump it as one with the RM5.40 above).

It was your mistake to pay RM145.00 for the supplementary in the first place.
The Supplementary balance was RM146.60. Thus now you owe the bank RM1.60 on the supplementary card. To use the RM5.40 credit for the supplementary account, you need to call the bank or cancel both cards.

The total current balance as 141.20 on statement is not useful and confusing.
Learn to read CC statement carefully.  icon_rolleyes.gif

for some bank, principal and supplementary usage are lump into one, ie, when making payment to bank, must quote principal card number, if quote supplementary number, bank wun accept

so the best is.. contact ur bank and ask...

(the bank i mentioned is maybank)

For one day late payment only, you can consider to give customer service a call, ask them to waive ur late charges (most of the time, they waive!)

May I know if I would like to apply OCBC Titanium by using my credit card, if I fax over my credit card copy, do I need to fax over front and back of my credit card or just only front of my credit card?
*
only front of credit card...
those who request you to sent / photostat the back of your credit card = possible scam..

Let's say we already have a savings account with Maybank. Can we open another basic savings account? I want to avoid paying the IBG fee when paying for OCBC CC. No branch here in Bintulu
*
no, but you can convert ur saving account to basic saving account.. (i did that before)
p/s: there is rm0.50 IBG fee for first 2 transaction for BSA.

I am using payonline. You might need to visit the website to see a list of available merchants..

it does not accept tnb..
it does accept payment to local government as well such as dbkl

Yes, it is correct, any master/visa card can be used to pay.. no AMEX..
