Just knew today that when you apply any credit facility, all your employment details will be recorded and sent to central bank.

When you apply cc and if you have new employment, they can't verify / find the new employment, it takes time for them to process it.

Hi all,
Thanks to this thread I finally received my OCBC Titanium. Woohoo!

09/9: Faxed application to OCBC.
10/9: GST charged
14/9: Card Issued
17/9: Statement arrived, but where is my card!??!!
18/9: morning - went to OCBC branch to check. CS asked me to wait for few more days.
18/9: afternoon - card arrived!!! went tesco and swiped it..taadaa..

p/s:
-CL was 7.5k only, pathetic but enough for me to enjoy the rebates!
-They are damn hardworking when come to charging fees, even it is Hari Raya.
-The OCBC branch near my place, Tmn Molek JB is cool !! Open on Saturday and Sunday 930am-1pm!!
-Now waiting for the PIN…

Yes, RM30K is a plat card limit for some banks but the Titanium is below plat status, plus OCBC is ultra stingy, so the answer is definitely NO tongue.gif

If I am to guess, I would say RM15K would be their figure, but do keep us informed hmm.gif

just asking,

when u guys refer to paying your cards on time as in fully settle after each month usage? or just minimum? i usually pay only minimum unless i have extra for the month i will clear more than minimum..

does that affect my applications as the card still have balance uncleared.

haha..Singaporean banks tend to be "stingy". Same to UOB, they'll give you low credit limit and maintain it for years

It is much much higher than this figure. The CL they gave me is higher than my previous Alliance Platinum, but lower than my existing SCB Titanium. It is the third highest CL I get so far.

Don't know about the uncleared balance but your kind is considered the best type of customer by the bank cos they will be earning lots of interest from you when you only settle the min amount each month. If you apply for a cc the chances of you getting it is very good! thumbup.gif

Today, the scb cs phoned me
Informed me that,
i cannot cancel the credit card, due to scb had made GST payment and RM38 to me.
If i really want to cancel, i had to wait after 6 months.

Haiz, scb force me to activate the card and use!
I really dislike this credit card!
