Actually I think if you want slim down, do not go to gym because when you went to gym, you will workout so hard in the end of the session, you will fell very hungry then you ate more. That's the reverse effect from your hardwork.

Halo?? Everyone just a human. Sometimes human make mistake and can't control themselves. If self control is that easy, there is no more crime or even obese problem in this world. That is common reaction by most people.

Sorry to be rude, but please don't put useless comment that not help but insulting

sorry to be rude then dont put useless idea of like the one in bold to begin with.
ur talking about human in general. yes not every one have good control but not everyone lack of self control.
so ur idea is not valid to begin with. bcoz they way u mentioned it.. it sounded too general.

why not go to gym and push as hard as you can ? I always do that and I always feel hungry and eat more than normal people. But still lose weight or maintain weight.

Push harder when you workout save you time. It also build OR maintain your muscles. Which is good. The calories you use when doing high intensity wokrkout for 1/2 hour is the same as you use when do a brisk walk for 1-2 hours for example.

But before pushing to the max, start slowly, afraid you cannot handle it. Be sure to be physically fit ....

start with 4 days cardio every week. 30 minutes per session. Can start with brisk walk. And reduce your calorie intake a bit. less carb n fat and more lean protein and vege

i live in my family too.
but i choose to buy my own food, cook myself.
Because, my mother tend to cook variety of food that "delicious" = high calories.. and I need to invest my own money to get clean food.

rules no 1.
ada wang, ada makanan bersih, ada kurus laugh.gif

if you can't do that,
follow rules no 2.
eat little, divide into 5 meals/day

can't do that too.
rules no 3.
exercise until can't stand laugh.gif

still can't do,
just live with ur body now sleep.gif

Since you have a lot of excuses :

1) Trade your gaming time to doing something else. Clean the house. Sleep early. Plan your meals. Learn to cook.

2) Stop eating in front of the computer.

Come on, you just repeating the same thing as ever and not much constructive.

Maybe before you wanna mention that approach is wrong please point out the which is wrong and why is wrong?

Nowadays people watch tv too much, some approach in the tv might not be real and might be too extreme for our body

oh well, let me highlight which area is the wrong approach...

1. asking ppl to stop gym fearing that they will eat more after gym. come on.. gym for exercise. those exercise actual reason is to break your muscle. consume protein to help rebuild back the muscle. muscle won't grow by itself unless exercise and movement. hence, don't stop go gym. go if you have the chance. fear to eat more after gym? no fear, prepare some quick protein fix such as banana, protein drinks, and have more water please. after the meal will reduce your hunger. no one ask you to go for char keow teow or hokkien mee after your gym. you are killing yourself.

2. consume fibre avoid cholestrol and fat. consume fibre is a good dietary but human need cholesterol to build testosterone, build cell, bile acids and helps you to digest fat-soluble vitamins. check the stats @ wiki. you need reduce cholesterol intake especially from animal fats and trans fats (normally came from fast food). fat? you need fat but ina reduce manner. you can't stop take fat, it appears in all your dishes. stop eat fatty dishes, yes.

Im a college student too, but i took the initiative. First step is by joining the gym! Or having a fix workout session per day!

When u join the gym - u pay. Causing u to have a mental status to give justice to the money your paying!

Cut down on your food! I couldnt resist food my mum makes. Now, im just having a small spoon of rice and whacking all the vege's she make.

Its all about mental awareness. Without it, i honestly think you wont be able to start too!
