I never thought i'll visit this thread in lowyat forum. Well, i didn't even know it existed =p
I am not drastically overweight but I can tell the difference by looking back at pictures a few years back.
My aim now is to lose my body fat. Did a recent test and it was 26% and organ fat 9%.
I will be starting a heatlh suplement programme next month and hoping for the best ! XD

Actually I think if you want slim down, do not go to gym because when you went to gym, you will workout so hard in the end of the session, you will fell very hungry then you ate more. That's the reverse effect from your hardwork.

First you need to control your daily calories intake,

Exercise just choose some lighter one such as jogging for half and hour and 3 times a week.

Consume fiber to avoid cholesterol and fat.

When eat please eat in slower speed to avoid misunderstanding from your stomach.

1st of all the approach is also wrong. Getting slim is about getting a few components work together
- correct diet and food,
- enough supplements,
- correct exercise,
- sleep well,
- drink well (minus beers and brandy).

Understand your body existing structure (obese, fat, average, thin), your internal fats (visceral fats), your weight and height, your target weight, time to achieve that and long term plan. Various method are combine to achieve the desired result. There is no such 1 program give you everything. One of the TV program you should see is "The Biggest Loser" and you will learn even more. Obese will need to go for different plan while, average ppl will go for different plan to achieve your desired target weight and body shape.

thanks bro for the advice. but i know i am hungry but i do control my food. is just that i cant control all my food suddenly. it will make me more worst.

but since i am in the gym, should i do more cardio?


Added on August 25, 2010, 11:07 pmthanks for all the replies. I tried to control my food already. ate rice only once a day (half bowl) and vege. i eat less meat but lotsa vege and tofu.

cutting down lots of food such as Milo and sweet stuff already. Still dont see much result. sad.gif

how long you have been in diet mode? more than 2 weeks?

p/s: meat... i love them.. laugh.gif it's source of protein too.

Come on, you just repeating the same thing as ever and not much constructive.

Maybe before you wanna mention that approach is wrong please point out the which is wrong and why is wrong?

Nowadays people watch tv too much, some approach in the tv might not be real and might be too extreme for our body

Halo?? Everyone just a human. Sometimes human make mistake and can't control themselves. If self control is that easy, there is no more crime or even obese problem in this world. That is common reaction by most people.

I seldom eat alot after my gym session as I'll feel guilty after all the sweat and effort I've put in. If I'm really hungry, I'll go for egg whites or fruits. Usually does the trick.

don't feel guilty.. just eat .. but keep in track on what u eat.. that should give you better relieve.
