if i make the flight booking first and add those add-ons later (food, seat, luggage), will it still be the same price as if i would to get it together with the flight tickets?

Hi,

I got less than a week before my flight.

I tried to do Web Check in but I got:

Sorry, we are unable to process your web check-in request.

Please ensure that you have met all our check-in requirements or that you have entered the correct Booking Number and selected the correct Destination.

Do I Qualify for Web Check-In?

The following guest(s) will NOT be able to utilise our Web Check-In services.

* Expectant mothers
* Guest(s) travelling with infant(s)
* Guest(s) with reduce mobility and those with special needs
* Guest(s) travelling to Australia (requires Pre-immigration Clearance)
* More than 9 guest(s) under one Booking Number
* Guest(s) who have purchased ticket(s) under our flight transfer service
* Credit Card & EGV voucher bookings made via internet or Call Centre, departing within 24 hours from the time of booking

As far as I know, none of the above is applicable to my flight/journey:
* Expectant mothers [no I'm not!]
* Guest(s) travelling with infant(s) [I'm travelling alone]
* Guest(s) with reduce mobility and those with special needs [Not me]
* Guest(s) travelling to Australia (requires Pre-immigration Clearance) [Going to UK]
* More than 9 guest(s) under one Booking Number [Again, just me alone]
* Guest(s) who have purchased ticket(s) under our flight transfer service [Don't think is for UK trip]
* Credit Card & EGV voucher bookings made via internet or Call Centre, departing within 24 hours from the time of booking [Well I booked using VISA Debit Card back in Sep 2010]

So why can't I check in?

Is Mobile Check in easier? How do you do Mobile Check In?

Maybe not open for check-in yet or maybe AA still can't confirm the scheduled departure time.

@p2paddict
this problem has been reported from several member too...
before this, we only allowed to web check in 48hours prior to flight,
although the already stated now, may check in 7 days prior to flight,
but i believe they just don't open to check in 7 days,

so, you can try again when the flight days is nearer.

The meal will be the same price but not for the super size luggage. It will be more expensive.

OK, thanks people.

Just curious, what's the queue like for Normal counter check-in ,especially on a Sunday morning? It's not free anymore, right?

Is Kiosk Check in easier/quicker?

usually, ticket for sunday is more expensive, maybe its mean something brows.gif

for me, kiosk or web check in is definitely more convenient and quicker,
plus AA will charge people check-in through counter starting NEXT YEAR.

Guys and gals. When Air Asia has a two day sale (like the one right now); will tickets be of the same price throughout the sale period? I don't get it; I tried to get tickets to Bandung and other places (for a fun holiday). I see RM18 on the mainpage (from prices); but when I check the whole timeframe gives me RM98 and RM124 per person / one way. So where I think I will pay RM18 + extra's...tickets are over RM250 per person. You could say that this is still affordable; but it's no RM18....when I see the RM98/RM124 it says 'Promo'.

So how does this work; do they offer three tickets for the special price; and then everybody pays the jackpot again?

I think you missed the word "FROM RM18 ONWARDS"

Only a few destination and a few seats are designated for RM18 all-in fare.

check rates here

How it works?

it is TRUE that u can get those published rates, usually @ off peak periods (public holidays/school holiday/weekends)

Also, it is first come first serve, meaning only a few tickets/offers per flight. once it's sold out, prices increase.
