QUOTE(Lefty @ Dec 2 2010, 12:26 AM) Pls help. You can always change your details in the future via airasia.com page. Just go to my flight>manage my booking and edit your pasport details in there.I had made a booking for hotel + flight package . but i did not had a passport so i just fill in with my IC number for passport field. How do I change it ? just change it for the flight purpose ? If i did not change it how do the hotel at overseas going to know that I m the person ? they verify with Malaysia IC ?? ur help is much appreciated Added on December 3, 2010, 1:21 pm QUOTE(p2paddict @ Dec 2 2010, 12:29 AM) Hi all. Web check-in and mobile check-in - 7 days to 4 hours before departure time, thus you can start your check in starting from 5/12/10 2.30pm until 12/12/10 10.30pm. So 12/12/10 at 10.31 you have to go to airport and do normal/kiosk check-in.I'm still confused about the 'Web Check In' time period for me, my flight to UK is on Sunday 12.12.10 2:30PM. I bought/booked my flight online with a Debit VISA card. So is my time limit for web check in: a. between now to 05.12.10 2:30pm or b. between 05.12.10 to 12.12.10 before 10:30AM ? I have booked 1 luggage only for my flight, not booked meals yet but now I want to. Here's the extract from AA's FAQ: When can you use our Self Check-In services? * Web Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time * Mobile Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Mobile Check-In page on airasia.com for more information) * Kiosk Check-in will be available from 24 hours to 1 hour before scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Kiosk Check-In page on airasia.com for more information) Kiosk check-in - 24hours to 1 hours, you can check-in starting from 11/12/10 2.30pm until 12/12/10 1.30pm. 12/12/10 1.31pm, you have to go ro counter for normal check-in. 12/12/10 1.46pm, if you still didn't check-in, take a taxi and go home and cry while banging your head against the taxi window haha. Added on December 3, 2010, 2:03 pm Web check-in and mobile check-in - 7 days to 4 hours before departure time, thus you can start your check in starting from 5/12/10 2.30pm until 12/12/10 10.30pm. So 12/12/10 at 10.31 you have to go to airport and do normal/kiosk check-in. sorry, correction- Web check-in and mobile check-in - 7 days to 4 hours before departure time, thus you can start your check in starting from 5/12/10 2.30pm until 12/12/10 10.30am. QUOTE(missytan @ Dec 3 2010, 11:11 AM) Thanks for the prompt replies...kids are of primary-school going ages, so no problem of crying there CHC arrival depends on when you fly out. Monday and Wednesday flights I think arrive at 1355 the next day but Saturday flights arrive at 2255 Saturday. The only disadvantage is the arrival time in CHC is at 2255...one day wasted ; prefer an early morning arrival.. I've flown Air Asia medium distance with family. The good thing about kids on the flight is that they're smaller so the cramped legroom isn't a big deal for them. What isn't good is that they get bored quickly so make sure they have what they need to be happy. In my case it was the iPad plus a laptop with some cartoons. I didn't want to do too late in the year because it's too far out to plan, was aiming for April flights. Good luck and have fun. |

I paid around RM1,000 for the tickets. althought it is too expensive as compared to the launching price but i think it is still worth considering AA will not have cheaper than RM1,000 in future.

Any opinion? It's still a good price. I would definitely consider RM100 for a 20kg luggage allowance (RM50 each way), you might want to buy stuff in Paris plus 7kg isn't a lot although on the flights that I've been on, nobody weighed my carry on luggage. |

I remembered the launching of Paris promo was around rm1350 (return) if i'm not mistaken. so a difference of rm7x now, is not much |

I juz checked AA's FB reply, it says 'no worries - you can write to our online feedback form at http://www.airasia.com/my/en/faqdetailsform.html or drop our customer care team a tweet at http://www.twitter.com/askairasia for assistance (Note: The twitter team is live from Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm (GMT+8)). Cheers!' i assume, u can drop them an email to have it changed, if ur worried This post has been edited by kucingfight: Dec 5 2010, 02:40 AM |

Hi,
What if my full name is Janet Lim Ah Moi in the passport and i only put Janet Lim. Do i need to contact airasia to add the full name? IF yes, do you think there will be charge/fee to add full name? |

Thanks, kuchingfight for the reply
I booked through mobileweb, so i neednt have to enter the birthdate details at time of booking. I will go in Manage my booking to enter the birthdate and i am good to go. Is that right? i know getting the name right is important in case need to claim insurance etc. So if full name is not there can be tricky |

Does anyone actually buy the Air Asia insurance? Have you tried claiming anything eg. for delays etc.?
I've always declined it since my credit card covers lots of stuff. |
