since cant get the Rm 141 per way... ( return total RM 413)
I think will just skip ANZ for the meantime.. the exchange rate is around 2.3/2.4 and I dont think I want to pay >RM500 for solely a ticket although it is still tempting. When it comes to Airasia... most important is to play patient with it... No worries folks.. theres more new route like saudi arabia and other european country is opening up~ |

like myself, many faced problems when doing cc payment.
Got stuck at: "You've now tendered enough payment to cover this booking. Payments marked "Pending" still need to be authorized by the system, however, so no money has been exchanged yet. If you wish to finalize this purchase, please type in the security code in the supplied field, then click Submit payment." called my cc, confirmed no payment. oh well.... next time then |

I'm excited at the new Airasia route to NZ but have a few questions as I've never travelled by Airasia before...am concerned about the long distance (13 hours?) as I'll be travelling with kids :
1. Are there any in-flight entertainment on board like movies, games? Do I need to pay for this & how much? 2. Do I need to pay to select the seats? 3. Any other helpful tips for me, esp about travelling with kids long-haul on Airasia X ? Thanks! |

QUOTE(p2paddict @ Dec 2 2010, 12:29 AM) Hi all. b. between 05.12.10 to 12.12.10 before 10:30AM I'm still confused about the 'Web Check In' time period for me, my flight to UK is on Sunday 12.12.10 2:30PM. I bought/booked my flight online with a Debit VISA card. So is my time limit for web check in: a. between now to 05.12.10 2:30pm or b. between 05.12.10 to 12.12.10 before 10:30AM ? I have booked 1 luggage only for my flight, not booked meals yet but now I want to. Here's the extract from AA's FAQ: When can you use our Self Check-In services? * Web Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time * Mobile Check-In will be available from 7 days to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Mobile Check-In page on airasia.com for more information) * Kiosk Check-in will be available from 24 hours to 1 hour before scheduled departure time (Currently available for certain destinations ONLY. Please refer to Kiosk Check-In page on airasia.com for more information) |

KL-CC RM141 + RM25 (Tax) =RM166
CC-KL RM141 + RM105 (Tax)=RM246 so Total RM412, + others (luggage, meals...etc) so total become RM593 |

Are there any in-flight entertainment on board like movies, games? Do I need to pay for this & how much? 2. Do I need to pay to select the seats? 3. Any other helpful tips for me, esp about travelling with kids long-haul on Airasia X ? Thanks! yes you need to pay to select the seats. in-flight entertainment also need to pay but i don't think there's like on screen games like other airlines. correct me if i'm wrong here. better get them a psp or ipod touch to keep them company on the plane. Thanks for the prompt replies...kids are of primary-school going ages, so no problem of crying there
The only disadvantage is the arrival time in CHC is at 2255...one day wasted ; prefer an early morning arrival.. |

QUOTE(missytan @ Dec 3 2010, 11:11 AM) Thanks for the prompt replies...kids are of primary-school going ages, so no problem of crying there in that case then it should be alright. i personally haven't travel long-haul flights by airasia x before but have used airasia many times and so far haven't encounter any bad experience at all. my brother started flying airasia when he was in primary school as well, he wasn't any trouble for any of my family. i have relatives and family taking airasia x to australia many times and they have complimented that the flight is actually quite comfortable but some have commented that the seat may be a bit narrow and uncomfortable at times. i'll talk about my experience if i can but that will have to wait until june next year when i fly to Christchurch. The only disadvantage is the arrival time in CHC is at 2255...one day wasted ; prefer an early morning arrival.. |
