HELP!!

I login into my AirAsia account and "manage my booking" - i have 2 bookings completely disappeared!! It's for next week.

I tried to do search on the booking numbers and neither showed up.

I did not get any message from Airasia cancelling the flights either.

I tried to contact live-help but they are off-line.

Added on December 27, 2010, 10:12 amSort of a resolution to the problem above.

If i login and go to "manage my booking" it shows "my bookings" page which is missing some flights/bookings. A search on this page with the Booking Number turns up blank page.

If i do NOT login and do a search with the booking number and flight details, then the itinerary shows up as "confirmed".

Just FYI for those who may come across the same problem.

^ You probably didn't book that flight with the same login ID. Or just some problems with AA's website/database.

As long as your flight booking is 'confirmed', it should be alright. smile.gif

I believe there is problem with AA's website/database.. I have booked 2 flight on early of this month but only 1 show up when I login with my ID to AA's website.. and for my second flight no email no notice send to me.. i even clicked twice re-send itinerary but nothing send but lucky that I still can check it using the Booking No

"block check in 48 hours" -

from AA Fb this is the explanation -

"the block boarding 48 hours is for those booking departing within 48 hours from the time of booking, they are unable to perform self check-in through mobile/web. However you are still eligible to check-in your flight as usual at the airport counter . . "

Added on December 28, 2010, 9:03 am@munkeyflo - only got one AA login account!!

There seems to be glitch in AA system giving rise to these problems. Hope they sort out soon.

It is possible if the price of the flight is exactly same, you have to change the go and return flight, deselect luggage for the going flight, select luggage for the return flight.

For my case, Penang -> Langkawi, Langkawi -> Penang
2 persons

Initially......
Penang -> Langkawi [Going]
Flight @ price A, with seat selection +RM5x2, without check-in baggage.

Langkawi -> Penang [Return]
Flight @ price A, with seat selection +RM5x2, without check-in baggage.

But then......
Penang -> Langkawi [Going]
Want to change the flight option but the price had increased from A to B, so not worth it la...
So, remains unchanged.

Langkawi -> Penang [Return]
Flight still @ price A, without seat selection -RM5x2, check-in baggage +RM20

Total amount due : RM10.00

I hope you understand what I am saying, I not so sure if I explain it well enough for you guys to understand, kinda blur myself too laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Having a bad experience with AirAsia lately.

We are having a flight on 23rd Dec 2010 to Taipei which is 6 of us and when is about to check-in, been told that our seat has been taken by others as of the result of overbook. It must be a great jokes right? How can it be overbook in a system. After understand from them they told us that the 10 people (6+ another 4 person) which have taken our seats are from yesterday flight which result of overbook. And has been told to take the evening flight which is 8 hours later. This are all domino effects and the AirAsia are taking the gamble and wish some of their customer do not turn up so it will give way to the overbook customer.

We were arguing with them for quite some time and the personnel did not helpful either. Especially one of their executive that reply me with these word.
"We are budget airline... what would you expect?" This executive are so irresponsible and disrespect against us. they give us the impression that you have to accept it, coz we are like that....Don't even want to arrange where are we suppose to be for the next 8 hours until we demand to rest in the hotel.

When asking if we were to take the next flight ...what would happen to next flight passenger since they told us next flight is full too and we are taking their sit... they told us that they will be end up like you... and they are hoping that actually some of their customer not to turn up.

Totally a disaster.... Airasia knew about this but yet they are not taking any action against it... this are one of the way for them to generate more income.... They even told us next time please check in early... Hell Yeah... my flight is 950 and i check-in around 8am. is that not early?

I have attach the video for this incident too.

http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=...591032&comments

Even my facebook comment on Airasia Fan Page got deleted after they fail to solve my problem...

Sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Try using their online check-in service next time.
If need to do counter check-ins, I normally reach there at least 3 hours earlier to avoid any delays or problems. smile.gif

Maybe you would want to write in to newspaper to complain or just go spam their facebook wall until they offer a solution.
