What am I doing is harassing the whole game and gain macro advantage but unable to end him quickly.. That's why always found frustrating over turtling opponent. I tried bluntly rush in and lost all my unit thus losing the entire game...

BTW, when you are vs terran, for me especially.
Scout early, if he is doing gas before barracks, it's very likely you will see early reapers (sometimes just a diversion tactics tho).

When I realise I need to defend against reaper, I would get speedling asap, lay a spine crawler to cover mineral line.
It's sad you have to go turn in to defensive when you realise reaper is coming..
Also saw people use multiple queen to defend but I always suck at queen micro..
covering 2 base is even harder, from what I see Idra is doing that he place overload at strategic location for sight and lay creep when possible..

If I suspect reapers, I would prepare a roach warren accompanied by speedlings. Most of the time you could end the game right away when you have few roaches because his base will be quite vulnerable.

must practice my scale more haha..

on the other hand, I am not really favouring Roaches due to the fact of high food count and also slow moving without upgrade, and also always loose out to air (bad scouting) when I do mass roaches.

yea la...when air unit come, they confirm sapu all your roaches. You must fast enough to destroy enermy base or if 2v2/3v3, order your partner to buy atk ground and air.

yeah going Roach heavy is a gamble.. I had one fight where I almost wipe out his base, but he crank up some air units that totally destroyed me in the end

so now I try to mix Roach and Hydra.. or go Roach first and have Hydra ready for switch if he go for air..

however.. if u go roach heavy and cant end the game quickly.. its almost a certain GG (for me atleast)

but my scouting and BO is still pretty weak.. so its all not that good for me right now.. hehe..

I'm all strategist but lack the execution skill when it really comes down to the wire.. hehehe..

its a very short game.. in 11min I GG already..

I probably expand too early.. didnt scout properly.. and skipping speedlings.. all spell G G for me

Recently won a game where my opponent go roaches only, so i do the same roaches only, but i rush for air units, saving gas and mineral b4 the spire complete, put up spine crawlers, spawning some extra larvae and make enough overlords, once the spire tower complete, 10 mutas making on the way.
The game ends in another 3-5 mins once i got my mutas, killed some of his overlords that i can see, then attack the queen, he send out all his roaches but i got my spine crawlers plus some roaches, so i can defend easily, he quit the game once he lost all his roaches.
That was a game of speed, if he got mutas 1st, i might have lose the game, but my advantage will be, all 10 of them will be out at the same time.

opponent's base had a gaping hole in his entrance that you can sneak in with some lings
also, stalkers > roach, go zerglings instead.

well... in the later part of the game I did.. but was too late thou.. hehe

thanks for the input.. yeah.. was roach heavy at that time.. maybe I should go for speedling+hydra mix?

@narf03 -> that sounds pretty similar to the game that I lost.. he went for speedling+hydra.. I rolled him with my Roaches.. wiped one of his base.. but he popped Muta from his other base and I GG hehe..

Never know you can use infestor like that... create diversion tactics.. but if he gets a raven it can be hard right?

I think I know why I cant hold his rush.. I didnt saturate my mineral line.. just got tip from Moon last nite to pun 26 drones to fill mineral line

If I can get more minerals and more larvae maybe I could do it..

been working on my drone count/extra lair in my main base right now..

About that infestor.. yes.. Raven/Missile turret would see them.. and I've seen games where 4-5 Infestor spawn a whole bunch of infested marines at a terran new expansion and shut it down for good..

Ash second base was oversaturated could've transfer some to the third base. I also notice you researched neural parasite but you didn't use it on battle cruisers.

I figured spawning infested terran above his own army while attracting tank's damage would be a better idea to spend the infestor energy instead of doing some flashy stuff. There are quite an amount of tanks, I had to do what's best for me to ensure my victory
