Guys, when do you normally tech up to lair then to hive?

Also, do you guys still go for mutas vs terran? Most match I played, terran will make turrets.

One more thing, you guys rely a lot on infestors? Like getting them ASAP.

generally i go for lair at 7-9 minute mark
just held off the 1st push by them

but i also will, on rare occasion, go for a 3 minute lair if i sense heavy gas build opener by the opponent & an engy bay by terran
a sure indicator of Ketroc's Planetary Fortress build with mass ravens (look it up on youtube,u'll see what I mean)

It's a stage of progress.. Initially I always 7RR when I'm going ZvZ until I slowly picked up the know-how on handling lings and banes what with micro and whatnot.. Being greedy (reasonably) is the only way you get the upper hand against your opponent.. Since blocking is difficult, try some building placements at your expo's ramp so that the lings would have to run longer as well as placing your overlords around your base's vicinity so you get an idea when to get defensive and start building spines or units for defense.
