Tempting with NextSense5.3 Probably i should reroot again Btw, higher quadrant score = higher performance? And with higher performance = higher battery consumption? Btw, anybody here on FroYo that is on this radio - version 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04 ? Its reported to increase the 3G speed by 10 times Do you see any difference? Or is our 3G speed already at max with our provider Source : http://www.xda-developers.com/android/10x-...h-new-n1-radio/This post has been edited by akachester: Aug 16 2010, 08:58 AM

QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 16 2010, 09:01 AM) Please try and report back regarding the 10x speed Well, i am on stock Eclair at the moment, and wanting to shift to NextSense. However, it comes with this radio - 32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20 and a newer version than the 10x speed. Not sure whether its available on it or not though. Btw, for NextSense, is this the way to do it? - Root the phone - Wipe all the data + SD card + cache - Install the ROM - Install the Radio Do i have to do this : - Install App2SD+? Is it a default or is it optional? - Partition my SD with ROM Manager? If partition, use EXT3 or EXT4? Thanks. This post has been edited by akachester: Aug 16 2010, 09:16 AM

I think NextSense do come with Apps2SD+ Regarding the 5.08 radio, you can always flash it in after you finish flashing the ROM Yes, you can partition SD with ROM Manager

Hopefully gonna do flashing by today. Bored with default FroYo already QUOTE(volcane @ Aug 16 2010, 09:29 AM) Did not notice any difference on the performance, try speedtest.net, getting similar score around 1.5Mbps download for Maxis. Are you running that specified radio? Guess thats the limitation of our provider then

Getting Started

|
2 days of not logging on and and 14 pages created. Mostly talking about rooting lagi, Awesome! There are many talks of different ROMs but no one seem to mention Cyanogen. Looks like a real solid build, will try that out later once I get my homescreens settled (taking forever...)

QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 16 2010, 09:32 AM) Install ROM manager from market and partition your SD card. By doing so, apps2sd will install apps to my SD card, but i want it to install to internal memory (phone memory) because it's recommended to install apps with widgets to internal memory, how do i do that?

Don't create the partition then all apps will be on internal memory.
