Hi,

For those rooted and installed the EU Froyo, just want to check is Chinese supported? Can view site in Chinese? Message in Chinese?

Long time WinMo user, and only using Desire for 3 days only. May root it today if EU Froyo support Chinese. :-)

How do i know where are they installed? Do we have option to select where do we want to install them?
Thats more like a template tongue.gif Once see title Froyo ETA and such, auto send that response smile.gif
I had the same problem when i tried to format my card using OpenDesire. My suggestion, take out your MicroSD, format using a PC and redo the nandroid backup wink.gif

Just to share my experience on formating USB / SD Card using your PC. Please use the Panasonic SD Formatter to format your USB Drive or SD Card. If you use your PC to format your SD Card will not run at its optimum speed.

hey bro.
did u noticed any difference in speed? what class are u using?
*
Can't recall the speed difference, last try was using Kingston USB drive, and big difference in write speed. If you did not format it using PC then no issue.

Still using class 2, but looking for 16GB class 6. Maybe will get it during PC Fair.

ok, I am convince... will root and flash to the Rooted Official HTC Android 2.2 (FroYo) ROM. BTW got one question. To flash radio we only need to use the zip and sdcard method as shown in this page right?

http://smarty-money.blogspot.com/2010/07/g...ustom-roms.html

No need to use the usb cable and the recovery-windows.bat

this only turn off the data. BTW widget is available for this. Add Widget -> Settings -> Mobile Network.

1. If I use ROM Manager to create partition, will it erase the data. Plan to use app2sd+
2. How to backup call history and SMS?
3. What is the name of the application which allow me select US T-Mobile add market? Found it: http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/downloads/list

when you have A2SD it will automatically installed all apps in there. to check the A2SD space just use the quick system info and you'll know that your ext partition is being used already.

Mod install location, when some apps doesnt install automatically to the A2SD then use it.

if you have Spare Parts in your ROM you can set your location for A2SD but the default is what you're looking for so dont touch it.

Btw guys, where to get Android keyboard eh? and swype too...want to try it la...

Thanks for the explain explanation.

Guyz...just wanted to know your opinion on a deal..Do you think HTC Desire Rm2064 is worth it? Original comes with 2 years warranty and can extend another 2 years warranty for Rm89. Can pay installment interest free for 6months.
*
from SenQ? IMO not worth, the current 2 years should be alright. After 2 years you already want to change your phone de. biggrin.gif
