I have al l on my ext partition. No problem so far.

Curious question, I'm running low on disk space on my stock micro sdcard that Maxis provided. On top of that, loading ALL PROGRAMS has become sluggish some times and loading folders in ASTRO File Manager has also become laggy. Hence, I plan on upgrading to a 8Gb / 16Gb Class 10 micro sdcard from Lowyat today.

My question:
If I plug in the new micro sdcard, what do I need to do besides transferring all my data over? I mean how to setup the ext2 partition and etc?

Will the contents in my ext2 partition be wiped out? Can it be back up?

My current stats:

SD card storage:
Total: 1.36GB, Free: 63.51MB

A2SD storage:
Total: 457MB, Free: 98.73MB

Internal storage:
Total: 148MB, Free: 27.47MB

System storage:
Total: 250MB, Free: 49.21MB

Dont look so good...

i see, because i experience some home screen lagging, it usually happens when i switch on my phone from sleep...

i have mine all in ext too. you use setCPU?

If you back up using Titanium, you need to backup the app and data, or else it will backup the apps only. i only tried Titanium for apps backup only as i dont like restoring all data just like that. so i use other apps for other backups(sms, contacts, etc)...

Hi, can anyone help me on this? I cant move the selection bar in the Amon RA recovery mode. I tried to move with the optical trackpad and also volume buttons but it seems not working. How to solve this problem?

I install next sense 5.2 but I dun hv any a2sd or a2sd+... Previously got a2sd on paul modaco... Any idea how to hv this a2sd?

Use ROM Manager or AMonRa Recovery to set up the A2SD partition.

Hi guys, just rooted to NexTSense v5.3 , and i partition the SD card by using the recovery mode (AmonRA 1.7.0.1 Recovery R5). Anyhow, when i install those application by .apk file, seem it unsuccessful. Any idea how to check am i successful partition the SD card?

partitioned ur sd already? better do a full wipe of everything, reformat & make the ext3, fat32 again

For those who have rooted Desire, is there anyway to see Top Paid apps in your market? I have fake the provider in market enabler but I only have Top Free and Just In columns even tho I can view paid apps in some pages.

Anyone changed to NextSense 5.3 already? How good is it especially in battery comsumption? Downloaded it but reluctant to flash

wanna ask..from NextSense 5.0 to 5.3:
1. did you flash the radio to .20?
2. did you wipe everything?

1. I was using .08 for some time but I am now flashed to .20
2. Sometimes yes, sometimes no... You probably don't need to wipe if you're upgrading from one nextSense version to another, but if you're encountering issue, just wipe and try again

5.3 requires .20 radio right?

I flashed from 5.0 to 5.1 to 5.2 to 5.3...

If I jump from 5.0 straight to 5.3, maybe I will consider doing a wipe.

Neophyte didn't say the radio requirement for 5.3, he just mentioned in his 5.0 change log that .08 radio can be used to save battery... I think .08 can be used in 5.3 as well but I just flashed it to .20 to be safe

Erm..That seems ok to me. Cause even on Eclair, it wont left me with much either. Cause my friend told me 5.2 is very battery hungry. Gotta redownload all the drivers and root again then
